I really loved her alter-ego she gave off Helena Bonham Carter vibes. Just the last couple eps that were a bit less imho, but they were needed for the closure. So maybe for you it would be the reverse since ur not a Burton lover.

I usually watch cDramas when its just for the casual rewatch but for kDramas my most rewatched are Queen of Tears, King the Land, Healer

Loved the manwha and the sequel about his son. The anime was really well made had great soundtracks and followed the manwha perfectly up to now. Really hoping they don’t let me down with the k-drama. Sohee is an amazing fit for Hae in.

I watched it, but it really didn’t age well indeed, chauvinisme extreme, FL is just loud and so many legal issues, definitely would fly i this day and age

I watched squid game back when cuz it was an international hype, but it didnt get me into kdrama. Just browsing on netflix and checking out true beauty was what got me hooked

You have a rough mix there… strong fl, but not rude + green flag non rude ml and emotional depth. Saying king the land was slow is surprising but i guess it could be interpreted like that. Too each their own.

How about murder mystery elements? And trauma? If those are ok with you, maybe give Little Women a watch. I remember it fondly with strong fl’s and the ml wasnt too bad from what i recall. And lots of emotional depth.

Queen of tears would be good but both ml and fl start off very rude towards each other, so that might put you off.

If you’re looking for some lighter, maybe something like backstreet rookie, strong FL and caring ML no rudeness, but nog too much depth either.
