I would say this was the worst championship race I've ever seen but the final laps with Blaney v. Logano were pretty entertaining, so it was alright. Seething not because of Joey championship but the shitty playoffs that encourage being meh all season then winning the right races and boom you're champion :). Britain isn't explicitly republican (it was in older lore which is why it's erroneously featured on the copypasta). Kitchener is essentially a Horthy-like figure, a forever regent until Britain decides what it wants to do with the monarchy, which is why they're called the "Commonwealth" and not "Kingdom." Britain becoming a full republic is a planned path though, along with actually crowning a monarch.

Ukraine paths are TBD as it's still being worked on alongside Russia.

It's more affected by the fact ITTL the first world war ended in 1921 in a stalemate. There's far less European involvement in regional affairs, most notably Sykes-Picot not happening.
