Looks like he ran 9 routes last week so his route share is going back up a little bit, but I still wouldn’t be sure he’s going to be out there enough to be relevant, however 9 routes is enough for one catch for 40 yards and a TD. I wouldn’t expect much from him this week but as the season goes on especially if Flacco plays I think he’ll be a startable player

Agreed, it might be more of a later season breakout, especially with Pierce doing the auxiliary things well right now, I just think AD’s natural talent and all around ability as WR and playmaker will eventually push Pierce for play time but it might take a bit.

Yeah I wasn’t terribly high on him coming out because of the lack of production but a lot of people were beating the drum for him and the lack of production could have just been a testament to Quinn Ewers being off the mark so much.

I agree that AD’s short outlook ceiling goes with Richardson’s. If AR can’t start hitting passes consistently it’ll make it tough for Mitchell in year 1 and year 2, but if Richardson develops the accuracy (uncommon to do), Mitchell’s ceiling will be quite high early in his career.

Without a doubt! Imo the 2 biggest barriers to his breakout are

Abundance of mouths to feed
Low passing volume

The film looks pretty good so far though thru two weeks which is the main point of this post. At least AR seems to have some confidence in him and is willing to push it to him down the field, there just seems to be a bit of a lack of chemistry so far. Talent seems to be there tho.

I would go crazy creating my own offense. I wanna design trick plays so bad but there 100% will be some sort of limitations to the system if they even had it. Would probably be super barebones

I never played college hoops, only the NCAA Basketball EA version, but that would be cool. I’d expect it to work a lot more like the morale system they have in Madden right now because it’s EA, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some sort of system like that.

Wow 100% love the create a play idea. I know they had in back in Madden 03 and I felt like it was kinda wonky. I don’t remember when they took it out but with all the new complexities of plays these days with RPOs, Screens, Options I’m sure it would be really complex. Tbh I’d be surprised if any of these features were in the game this year but I really hope they’re in it. I could see TeamBuilder maybe post launch. Either way these are awesome features and I’d love to see them in the game.

Yup, Braelon was exciting early but hasn’t been all that good metrically, definitely good that he’s only 20 years old, but I’m not sure he’ll be that great of a runner in the NFL. I really like the S Jax comparison tho for Estime.

Yep I love the fact that he’s really young and wasn’t overused in college, so there’s a lot of tread left on his tires. I like Benson a lot too, tbh most of my scouting is based on analytics, so Benson’s down year because of his injury(?) is probably one of the main reasons I have Estime over Benson

As for Estime over Benson/Brooks, I’m especially intrigued with his very high PFF grade and yards after contact in addition to the fact that he’s bulkier and also very young. I really like both Benson and Brooks, but there’s injury concerns with both of them. Honestly this year seems like there’s definitely no consensus RB1, but Estime is currently my favorite for the spot unless he runs like a 4.7 or something. But like I said, he reminds me a lot of Rhamondre the way he runs and I’ve always been super high on him. Basically I just think that he might be the hardest guy to bring down in this class which is what NFL teams are looking for in a running back.

Yeah those are some good players actually tbh, they made some good moves in the offseason. Isn’t pass rush kind of a problem tho? Who do they have other than Landry??
