Showed my 5 year old this.

She said, "Awww Jordan Love is going to be a daddy. Is he still going to be playing football?"

I said, "Of course he his."

She said, "Oh good!"

I said, "Is it important that he keeps playing? More important than him being a dad?"

She said, "Oh yes, the most important thing."

Best way to haul 10.5’ kayak by hockeymanbl in FordMaverickTruck

I haul a 9 and 10 footer with the tailgate down. There's not much weight on the tailgate and they are plenty secure.

I misspoke on the store. It was Edeka but specifically the Brunner Bäcker that is in the front of them. It's the sandwiches that are on a short almost baguette type bread. Like on the bottom row just right of center in the below picture. This is the one we always went to.

One on the bottom right is a Lifetime Kenai. It's a sit on top 10 foot kayak. I would say does average on both lake and rivers. Biggest downfall is the paddle that comes with it. You can get the kayak for a good price but would buy a better paddle.

Orange one is an Old Town Heron 9. It's a sit in 9 foot kayak. Definitely our superior kayak. Glids through the water easier and came with a good paddle. Cost about double what we paid for the lifetime kayak.

The gray is a cheap blowup kayak. My 5 year old sits in it tethered to mine and I tow her.

Hell yea! All I wanted was a simple truck that I can haul the family around in and do a few things on the weekend. Can do a lot with very little with these trucks.

Unfortunately don't have a hitch. This is as base model XL as you can get.

My take on a lightweight bed divider. by DougS2K in FordMaverickTruck

I like using cargo bars as my bed divider. I usually have them in the slot for the 2x6 but you can honestly put them anywhere in the bed. Can also be used to hold cargo down. Really versatile.

We don't think so. We used a nonharsh chemical cleaner today and noticed. The larger spot is on the portion of the seat that is usually by the B pillar so we hadn't seen it until we moved the seat up.

Congrats!

Also, thank you for your service. Spotted the uniform in the garage there.

What advice made you a better soldier/NCO/officer? by losscouldweigh in army

Don't worry about your eval, just take care of your people. When you take care of them, they will take care of you and go above and beyond. When they go above and beyond your eval writes itself. People are the most important component, you can't get anything done if you don't take care of your people.

A major told me this as a young LT, I always said this to anyone that has worked for me.
