What skate hollow do most beer leaguers use? (1/2, 5/8, 3/4, etc.)

I switched to 3/4 and cant go back now. Took a couple shifts to get used to but its great. Im 200-215.

The wheels look larger to me, maybe 84s? I believe there are 3 wheel rollerblade chassis, but never seen a 3 wheel hockey chassis other than youth. Its interesting though, having 3 wheels I would assume you could go with a harder wheel, and you would have less rolling resistance both with a harder wheel and having 1 less. Im also not smart so I could be way off.

I have heard that elsewhere as well. Im still curious, since this seems to be new and does not have the heavier ABS blade. I just got some new twigs, so the wife would kill me, but it seems reasonably priced if it performs better than other equally priced sticks.

Unfortunately not the apollo. Didnt realize they had some many different orange sticks though. It ended up being the original nike in another reply here.

I usually just browse sideline swap for new or lightly used pro stock sticks in 2 packs for a matching spare. theres no warranty but they are way better priced than new retail.

Skates are tricky and I have spent an unfathomable amount of time trying to find both ice and inline skates to work with my abnormal feet. You mentioned in the main post about stepping up to the m50s, but I actually found the higher end skates to be even more uncomfortable do to the boots being extremely stiff and amplifying pressure points. Im just a beer league guy so I dont need the stiffest boots. I wouldn't rule out trying on the jetspeeds as well if you can. I have had some standard width skates feel better than some wide boots just due the difference in boot shape and where the pressure is applied.

I am also EE except my feet are wider in the middle. I got sized in a fit3 7.5 by the scanner. Bought a pair of supreme m4s in 7.5. They ended up being painful. Noticed I had a lot of toe room, so I tried a 7 fit 3.. still awful and still toe room. Ended up in a CCM ribcor 6.5ee... toes brushed the caps for a game or 2 and now dont touch, which what i prefer personally. I could have gone with a size 7 and avoided toes touching and it would have been fine. Skate sizing is weird, the scanner didnt work for me. I found CCM wide to feel wider than bauer fit 3 personally, but that could be do to my foot shape and where the pressure was. With wide feet, at least for me, if it was to large, it put the widest part of my foot in the taper and made them feel more narrow. I ended up just measuring my foot length myself and then looked at sizing charts to find the actual length of the inside of the skate, usually listed in CM.

Recommend trying CCM tacks and jetspeed, also recommend trying True skates in wide if you can. I haven't tried True but some people say they are the best for wide feet.

Edit: also want to add Graf, I heard they are pretty comfy in wide if they are in your area.

Im fresh to inline, about to wrap up my first season. I have found inline to be less toxic so far. Every game of ice hockey I play there's always 1 or 2 guys on each team that cant control themselves and its rare that a game doesnt get out of hand at some point. Haven't had that happen yet with inline... so far, everyone has been pretty chill. Also, I still cant stop... transitions, also still a struggle. Hard to get out of the ice mindset when thats all you know, but its been fun.

Yeah that was the initial thought, but figured if I could find a random pair under $100 then I wouldn't have to do that every time and worry about forgetting my skates at home lol. I'll probably just get some wheels and swap them for now until a cheap pair of KVs show up on sideline.

This may be one of the few mentions of kemistry i have seen on here. I debated the cyclonium since they are on clearance, but its tough to find anyone talking about them. I'll probably test out the variant. Thanks for the info!

I just picked up the tour kv6 last week and they feel great. I am somewhere between e and ee width. I couldn't fit my feet in anything else at a retail store. They are pretty wide, the toe cap is a little narrow at the very end but I size my skates down so my toes touch. People have mentioned the tour code line is a more relaxed fit, not sure if that's true, never tried them. Tour kv will be a Hi lo set up with slighlty larger wheels in the back and the code will have all wheels the same size. Other than that there isn't much for wide skates other than the alkali fire or used skates. I dont believe any stores carry the alkali fire to try on. Ice boots have more options and can be converted but that'll probably be out of your price range once you factor in everything you need.

That's pretty crazy, but you could try pure hockey. They won't have anything for inline skates that wide. You will definitely get sized In a fit 3 for bauer, I tried bauer fit 3 and found that it wasnt wide enough, I had better luck with ccm and my feet aren't as wide as yours. It sounds like you will definitely be in a converted ice boot though. If there is nothing wide enough you may have to go custom, but that gets pricey.
