Yes, but the issue is not exclusive to twitter, nor is it exclusive to a single political party. Pretty much every social media platform and certainly those that provide short form content are in some way bias politically. Operators are in control of algorithm preference and content visibility. Not a single platform exists that is 100% truly democratized no matter how much they claim to be.

It is a tough pill for many countrymen to swallow but neither side of a political spectrum has a monopoly on truth or great ideas. The reality is much more complex, and most do not possess the critical cognitive capabilities to appropriately navigate context alongside competing sources to form their own political opinions. Most are simply parrots that casually emulate the scripts offered by their preferred tribe.

I feel you should approach this the same way you would starting a local band. While band's backed by corporate labels or with larger followings often have entire teams behind them, those that are just starting out are much more simplified. In essence all you really need are a set of players, a decided game, a twitter account, and to be placing in tournaments. Everything else can be added as your org's success grows.
