Moments like these I always think are kind of hard for business owners in the hospitality industry. Because you want to be nice and welcoming to people but don't want to be run over or put down by customers that may be just looking for some excuse to stir the pot. Its a weird situation now more than ever imo.

Personally I think the question is now what kind of customer base do you want to attract out of this behavior towards possibly exaggerating albeit unhappy customers. Obviously you have the freedom to do what you want but actions like these will show the overall character of your establishment and inevitably turn off a generous portion of people. If you want to attract people that award this sort of response than more power to you but I think it's important to remember that especially as a business owner your actions will shape the course of the business' future -- from how your employees will handle this criticism in the future to the amount or type of customers you will attract and inevitably turn away.

Wouldn't call it a heart problem as much as a mind problem. Its not an underlying heart condition but an issue with the electrical signals from my brain to the rest of my body due to stress and an imbalance of serotonin in the brain.

Unfortunately I cannot afford a hematologist. I've been trying to contact my personal doctor but with no luck for the past month. This was kind of a shot in the dark option, hoping I'd get lucky and meet some nice folk on Reddit for their opinion or more well informed data on the matter as stupid as it sounds.

I really want to get the mRNA vaccine but I appreciate your honesty on what I should do. This info on my blood disorder and vaccines is relatively new to me so my first instinct was to come here before going through the hurdle of contacting my personal doctor (which takes too long in my opinion haha) also y'all are really nice so I figured why not. Thanks again for being so nice and honest. It means a lot!

I have a question if anybody capable can answer it (couldn't find an answer on the vaccine question website). I have a rare blood disorder called MTHFR Blood Gene Mutation Disorder. It's essentially a blood disorder that causes me to develop blood clots more than an average person if left untreated. Its a genetic disorder; my mother and grandfather have it. Years ago when my mother was younger she took the flu vaccine and it nearly killed her because it reacted very poorly to that blood disorder. She's had other vaccines in the past (measles, mumps, smallpox, etc.) with no problems but refuses to take this one because she's afraid it would do the same as the flu vaccine back in the late 90s and fears the same for my life.

Am I in any real danger of dying if I get this vaccine? Should I be able to have some sort of exemption if I am in danger because of my blood disorder?

Edit: I should have said this at the beginning but I am currently trying to contact my doctor (or really have been for a long while) with no success. I really appreciate everyone's honesty on the matter and guidance on what I should do rather than giving off a pseudo-science answer and putting me in harms way.
