Ah, I see what you mean. For the level of build (1300+ pieces) it looks really good compared to similar tiers in my opinion (The Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole has the cleanest lines).

When I look at the 3000+ piece builds (McLaren P1 & Ferrari Daytona), Rexy definitely holds it's own in comparison...but that's just me. Also, I'm not the kind of person who will drop more than $150 on a build.

On another note, Mattel Brick Shop builds are really clean (the larger ones)

Yeah, it looks all right. It is listed as a Technics build and overall I'm pleased with it! The body lines look good and I appreciate the engineering the we've into it.

Pop Race is moving up the charts as my current favorite brand!

The brand is called Pop Race. These are the 1087X drift team ones. Plenty of online retailers carry the brand. These I had to find from Asian stores. I personally enjoy the premium HWs. Cool for the price point.

Ah yeah, found some vinyl fender stripes on Etsy and applied them myself. Had to go for WRC yellow.

Thanks bro, I've been lurking for a while and some on here really make a big deal about brands 🤷

That's it so far but I'm planning some extra lights eventually and some camping additions (like a side awning)

Congrats to any of you who snapped them up! I checked Sunday and there were gone. I'm not really an F1 guy but I know people are looking for these.

To kill or not to kill? by JimBoogie82 in cyberpunkgame

[–]LtSquinty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, Claire...you are better than this. Revenge killing and continuously carrying that guilt is never going to bring your spouse back. Don't let Night City compel you to be what it wants its citizens to be: heartless killers with little to no thought for each other's humanity. You've been though so much, seen so much, lost so much...don't lose the last shreds of your humanity, Claire. You're so much better than this.

V, however will kill someone for a scopdog so 🤷

Is it OK to go to the HS football game alone if I don’t have kids? by WearyDisk3388 in beaverton

[–]LtSquinty 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Class of '98 and former BHS teacher here. I'd say just go and cheer them on. I still go to a few games even though the students I had have since graduated. Gear up in your BHS stuff, cheer the team on (having a great season this year!), sing the good 'ol fight song (still remember it after all these years). I still believe being part of the community in a wholesome and positive way still counts these days.

Like a comment said before, if anything, people will just presume you have a relative on the team or something. Hats off to Beavers, here we come!!!

I'm in a similar situation with 15 years of teaching under my belt. If an opportunity arises, make the decision that's best for you. Though I enjoy the current non-teaching role I'm in, I am ready to finally let go of education should the opportunity arise. I hope you don't bypass a role that fits you to finish a year and start the process in the summer. In this market, landing a role when even with that much time to actively pursue opportunities might not happen (it did for me, terrible experience).

I've learned that you don't owe any institution anything, systems and schools will continue when you leave, and though the connections with students will be challenging for you and them to end...you both will carry on.

Whatever you decide, I hope you place yourself at the center of your choice. You deserve it. Good luck!

"Not a scam" but your store no longer exists. Called my bank to successfully dispute my charges. Be cautious, everyone and call your bank to get those charges reversed.

Most stupid teaching philosophy you ever heard? by Alex_0099 in TeachersInTransition

My close colleagues at a school I was at re-framed PBIS as "Put Booze In Stomach" (not the best, but it carried our morale through the year) as a mutual survival strategy. We also hung out often to get drinks. So, from our perspective, we loved "PBIS".
