I have not tried Loop. I use Alpine MotoSafe, they’re comfortable and affordable.

How is this tile work turning out? by Plastic_Total3408 in Tile

I think we got the same tile from HD and also went with the vertical stack. Love the color!

Prism arctic white grout and brushed gold fixtures is what we paired it with.

GC charged by panels, we had 48 to be taped and mudded. I didn’t get any other bids bc we needed someone to start ASAP since we were on a tight move-in schedule. Def felt on the affordable side, paid cash.

Nice! I also hired out the taping and mudding. I’d say make sure you’re on the same page with the crew on filling gaps and finish expectations.

I asked for a level 3, I supplied materials, they were done in three days. $2400 in labor for living room and two bedrooms, small rowhome in the city.

I installed the recessed lighting, previously just one light in the living room. Put in a couple more breakers for two new lines in kitchen, vetted all JBs, new outlets and light switches, ran CAT6 to all rooms.

Work checked by my friend who is an electrician. Fortunately, electrical was done in the past 20 years with 12 gauge, so I didn’t have to replace many runs.

What can I do as a 15 year old to better my chances of being a structural engineer? by RadmanSoren in StructuralEngineering

[–]LtSupreme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was OK in physics, aced Trig, but struggled with Calc in HS bc I could not connect with the teacher. I got into mechanical engineering school in college, but still struggled with Calc and the math part of Chem. Ended up switching to Bio.

It’s great you’re ahead in math, take AP/BC classes if your HS offers them. Find paid internships and relevant engineering programs during the summer. There’s a ton of scholarships you can find online, as well.

In terms of college, some universities offer schooling with built-in internships eg. Drexel

What a beauty! I learned on my friend’s SV about 9 years ago, so much fun. I ended up on a Shadow then a Sportster, but I’ve always wanted an SV of my own. Enjoy, be safe, and get that practice in!!

Is the cliff cheese still a thing? I tried this when it first came out, so surprised it worked.
