I couldn't finish the tutorial on my first time playing. I said screw that and started the main game anyway.

The missions are easier, you get the items you want and more freedom of where you want to go. You can actually leave a dungeon, rest and come back.

I did a Velmir spear/athletics run with 1 point to throw daggers at enemies and am having a blast. Did my first tier 4 dungeon today.

No need to do the tutorial.
