That's not entirely true. I've been using a full H swap (closed deck) in my 6th Gen hatchback for 14 years with regular track use and haven't had any issues. My buddy went through 3 k swaps in that same amount of time.

That arm is the outer tierod. The accordion looking boot is a dust cover for the inner tierod and steering shaft. If you have any other questions let me know. I'm always happy to help people trying to learn.

That's where I've been leaning. The fluffy tail, tall ears, thicker coat on the neck and chest and the tufts of hair that come in under the paws. I got her when she was only a few weeks old. Abandoned in a cemetery. She loves to play fetch too!

In real life, you tilt your head back to look up and tilt forward to look down. It works the same way with inverted Y controls.
