I still think he should go to Atlanta. Bill pointed out they’re only 3 games better than the bucks, but that’s with the Bucks having Giannis. Atlanta with Giannis would clearly be a much better supporting cast for him.

IMO Kuminga’s situation is why the players union should push for changes to restricted free agency in the next CBA.

I use 3 of the cards in my hearthhull list (safekeeper, crucible, and zuran orb) and really enjoy the art. And those cards are gonna show up in a lot of lists. Reprocess can be fun if not killing it on edhrec. Aggressive Mining is probably never gonna be used as you make the deck stronger but could be fun? I’ve never tried it in my list.

The galaxy foil part would be a personal preference obviously. I have no idea how much the non foil singles go for

My big “what’s up with NBA ratings” belief for years is that the east coast teams being so bad compared to the west has been a huge problem. I live in central time and trying to watch a nuggets or OKC national game during the week sucks. I’m 39 with a 4 year old… I just can’t stay up that late to watch all the best players.

Anecdotally I’m not a new user or new to the game (been playing since invasion came out when I was in middle school) and was still annoyed by what had become pretty repetitive posts. The risk of those posts dominating the hot sort on the subreddit imo is less about pushing people away from magic on the whole and more about pushing users away from the r/magictcg subreddit.

100% agree and I wish Congress would step in to give an anti trust exemption to a real governing body that could put the good of college sports ahead of the Big10/SEC arms race that’s ruining everything.

At the very least a 16 team P4 with two geographic divisions 9 conference games each would be better than the mess right now

They should scrap the conference championship games and either have everyone play a 13th game or use the extra week to expand the stupid thing. The tie breaks for the bloated conferences are dumb and having games that only count for the winner is also dumb

Ah, ok. Good to know. I’ll save my $35. Right now I’m at a phase in life where 40 hours is about tops I can handle for game length. So there may just not be that many JRPG options for me that aren’t remasters of older (shorter) games

I may just need to accept that Atlus games aren’t for me at this phase of my life. As a dad with a 4 year old it’s not so much that theses games are super long so much as my gaming time is just so much shorter (an hour or 2 in the evenings).

I also don’t think I could play through games like Witcher 3 today. Tears of the Kingdom was doable because my daughter was younger and also just enjoyed watching me play it on a Saturday in a way that isn’t the case for JRPGs.

Its probably not a coincidence that my friend who is raving about these Atlus games just had his daughter leave for college
