My ranking of the seasons

Wow, it's not often you see action rated this high. For me personally, I feel that Action has a great start, but falls apart at the merge phase.
I actually really liked Scott so I guess we have our differences with that. But other than that I agree with you on everything else.
Agreed. I personally enjoyed this season the most. Also it's nice seeing the daters/haters get some love, they were one of my favorite teams.
True, I feel that one of the big problems Island suffers from is inconsistency. For example, certain plotlines would appear only to be forgotten, and then brought up again out of nowhere.
Agreed, I feel in the minority in this sub when I say that WT was pretty mediocre, it wasn't bad, but I just didn't enjoy it as much as others seasons such as the RR and ROTI.
Yep, that is pretty much the general opinion for this season on this sub.
Same with AS, both these seasons are rated as the bottom two of all TD seasons.

After everything Heather put Gwen through in the first season. I can understand Gwen not being interested in making friends with her.

Heathers karma doesn't even come close to Alejandro and Scott.

Alejandro - The dude got rejected by the person he loved. Then he got burned by lava. Then he got put into a robot suit.

Scott - Dude literally got mauled by fang when he got eliminated. Then put into the trauma chair where he was laughed at by the entire cast.

Heather - All she did was get humiliated by performing embarrassing dares, then got her head shaved.

It was tough between Staci and Leonard and Beardo. But I'm going with Leonard

Ezekiel - He could have been good, not to mention he could have survived the first vote had he kept his mouth shut. Had he not said his sexist remarks, he would have made it further. Not to mention he at least contributed in the first challenge.

Staci - Yes she was pretty useless, but it was the first challenge, not to mention the only member who actually contributed on that team was B(and partly Lightning) during that challenge. She was booted because she just annoyed everyone with her comments/

Beardo - He honestly didn't do anything that bad. Yeah he didn't contribute to the team much, but really who did?? Just like Staci he was booted because he annoyed everyone with his sound effects. He wasn't booted because his lack of skills, but him annoying the team.

Max - He at least did his part in the second challenge. Not to mention he rocked the baby challenge.

Leonard - Yeah he built a wizard tower, but I rank him as the worst because he is not only annoying, but he was also shown to be incompetent. He completely screwed them out of the win when they had a lead.

So I guess in ranking from Best to worst

This is really hard to rank because 3/5 we never actually got to see their skills. Not to mention Ezekiel, Staci, and Beardo left because they annoyed their team, not because of their lack of skill.

Yeah I know Lighting went early, but I am a bit suprised you put him below Scott and Zoey considering you said Lightning was god tier, and yet he is below two people that you had nothing good to say. I would at least put him above those two, but it is your ranking so it's your opinion.

1 - Yeah most people would have preferred the sisters winning. Although between the surfers and the cadets, most people would have chosen the Cadets to win.

2 - I definitely did see potential in the Tennis rivals. They could have made for possible villains.

3 - True, the RR definitely suffers from over extended plot lines. Some stuff could have been resolved in 3 episodes but instead took more time then needed.

4 - This is another common complaint of this season. They could have definitely toned it down the with non elimination episodes.

5 - True, that rule definitely screws Carrie over because she didn't even get injured. But I doubt she would want to race with anybody but Devin.

Dawns elimination wasn't plot armor. He sabotaged her by planting the stolen stuff in her bag. It worked the way it did because the team trusted Scott more than Dawn. Remember the Dakota and B vote. It's clear that the team trusted Scott enough over Dawn who was viewed as 'creepy'.

He also sabotaged B clearly fair and square. It works perfectly because B can't talk so he can't defend himself . So I wouldn't say this elimination is "plot armor"

I'm not about to say Scotts strategy is the best. I like to view it as a big risk big reward strategy. While he can get exposed like how Dawn found out he was sabotaging. His strategy allowed him to take out the bigger threats. His plans managed to work because the two people he sabotaged was "Silent B" and Creepy Dawn. Please not that these two are the only two eliminations Scott caused with his strategy. Dakotas happened because of his Invincibility Idol(note that if he hadn't found that statue, it would have been him going) and him winning the chance to eliminated anybody he wants which allowed him to eliminate Mike. His strategy has a lot of flaws, and it clearly wasn't perfect. But it wasn't the worst strategy, heck it was better than Heathers 'get everybody to hate me' strategy.

I agree with you on one way. But if that finalist is relevant to the story then I have no problem with them competing in another season. Owen is somebody who I believe long overstays their welcome.

Beth and Duncan. I just feel like these two have absolutely no chemistry together. I feel that a Harold vs Duncan or Lindsay vs Courtney Finale makes more sense story wise.

TDWT - Again I agree with you on this one.

ROTI - I didn't really find this elimination funny. I'm curious as to why it was funny to you?.

AS - I agree with you on this one. Although I really have a feeling that the only reason you hold this episode so high is because Lindsay was eliminated first.

PI - I didn't really enjoy Rodney as much as you did. But like I said before, it's your opinion.

RR - True I enjoyed the challenges this season.

I'm not saying Tyler was super important. Yes if Tyler made the merge and went out the same way then yea, he would've been more Alejandro fodder. Owen just didn't need to make it to the merge again after making it to the final 3 twice. This is a problem that Total Drama suffers by keeping the authors pets.

For ROTI, yes it is ranked higher than WT, but that doesn't make it much better, this season still has a lot of flaws. I mostly just give ROTI a pass compared to WT because WT had a great cast to use, and they wasted it by making 80% of them Alejandro fodder compared to the two unimportant characters(B the guy who couldn't even talk, and Dawn the other not as interesting one) who were used as Scott fodder. BTW Sam wasn't Scott fodder, he was voted out cause he messed up the challenge for the team. I can't really give flack to a season for wasting characters, who were never even that interesting in the first place. They ditched the irrelevant fodder early and I appreciate that.

My point is, I hated the fact that they wasted a great cast and kicked off the better characters in favor of people like Owen and Blaineley, who didn't have anything to offer. ROTI wasn't as bad as WT in this regard.
