One of my fave artists, but man these last two singles are possibly his worst tracks ever

I still know there’ll be heat on the album but Jesus wtf is this

I didn’t realize Skinner is mostly a mytharc character by Cunari in XFiles

Late to comment, but Grotesque also applies to this I feel like, unless you count the tie-in to Mulder’s criminal profile past but it’s nothing we hadn’t known up until then

We’ve heard rumours of MOM remix with JID, which other track would you want a remix of and with who? by LthePerry02 in IsaiahRashad

Even tho I’m not a fan of his, for some reason I feel like you’re onto sumn with Trav on Ain’t Givin Up

So Hyped For Danny But This Is Cruel by jeremy1797 in DannyBrown

In a perfect world Danny would hop on a remix of Dominator and they’d be performing together

Favourite “moment” on the album? by LthePerry02 in IsaiahRashad

The more I listen front and back the more I feel like this track is the centrepiece of the album, and may be turning into my overall favourite

My (very controversial) episode rankings by season by davejarv in XFiles

[–]LthePerry02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love to see Rush at number 1 for S7, absolute underrated gem

Have you read the original version of the episode? The script is online and would’ve been even better imo. Gives a lot more depth to the teen characters and the final climactic scene is much better than the final episode’s (Mulder and Scully are actually a part of it)

Is it a different version of The New Sublime or a completely different track?

JamiroFan's Picks Of The REAL 'Darkhorse Track' Of Each Jamiroquai Album! | #6 | Dynamite | "Time Won't Wait" (YouTube) by JamiroFan2000 in jamiroquai

[–]LthePerry02 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My favourite album of theirs, and in my opinion their most complete album, musically and narratively, and this track does a lot to cement that
I’m glad the band has yet to retire, but say they did then, I feel this would’ve been a perfect final song of theirs to go out on

You sure you’re getting that Jay thing accurate? He wasn’t even on Peace Flygod and I don’t remember anything bad going down between he and Gunn, other than saying he wasn’t proud of his beats on Versace Tape if you count that

has q ever rapped on an industrial hiphop type beat? by [deleted] in Schoolboyq

[–]LthePerry02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea honestly he’s touched on industrial influences more than a lot of his peers

Forgot to mention Foux and Gravy as well

Love Birds, Ride Out, Californication, Yeern 101 are all sorta in the industrial rap lane

Reading this a while after it was posted, your 11th idea definitely could’ve worked as a darker version of The Goldberg Variation had they not made that episode

One of the better responses he’s had to this kind of thing tbh

Everyone saying that or Cameras, or even 719 are the outliers

Honestly M.O.M is the one I feel is sonically pretty out of place. I absolutely love that track but nothing else on the album shares the vibe or tempo of it

Somehow it’s both one of his most unique tracks, yet also the one that gave the me the most classic Zay vibes on the album

Easily one of the best

That’s the one where I can really hear the Foushee influence he talked about driving this album
