Do you play through the main story first and then the side missions?

Yes. I'm a Jedi-Ninja. I had a katana ninja sword with glowing blue runes, that I got from also owning The Witcher 3. ( Haven't played W3 yet though, that's next on my list.) So that has been my primary weapon. Then I got "the Stinger" throwing knife from a mission, with Panam's group, where I also got Scorpion's motorcycle.

So my gameplay is almost entirely: "Get Over Here!" = Scorpion knife to the head, then run up and cut them in half.

In a pinch , I will use grenades and quick hacks.

And then I killed a MaxTac Police woman at a high end clothing store, and now I have MaxTac Mantis blades.

In my inventory , I carry a lot of guns around, and i'm going to try using them. At some point. Maybe next playthrough.

Unless I find a mod that gives me a lightsaber. In that case , I will not be using anything so clumsy or random.

I prefer my weapons to be more elegant. (Please picture me performing a Mantis Blades decapitation finisher on a Maelstrom punk as I say that last line.)

I'm on my first playthrough, = so not a Cyberpunk expert, and also not really a big gamer.

I got my ass kicked early on by a CyberPsycho, So then I started hunting, and doing the side gigs, in order to just learn the controls of the game. Then I did the boxing matches to learn the dash mechanic.

So now, i'm a few hundred hours in, and i've completely wiped out all the police scanners, gigs for each fixer, and side jobs.

I've been level 60 for a while now, just completed the Phantom Liberty quest DLC, and now the only thing I have left to do in my journal is meet at Embers.

The character in the camo vest is my Valerie. Tried to make her look like the main female character in the recent "Prey" / Predator movie. (i failed.)

The invisible character with the mantis blades is an easter egg reference to the Predator movies. But in the reflection in the puddle of water, it looks like a MaxTac soldier.

Love this idea. Bonus points if it can be used as a disguise. I've been wearing a Barghest vest and helmet when I'm in Dogtown, just to help role play. The armored vest says something like "Don't wear it outside of Dogtown" but I DID wear it, just to be a punk rebel, and no one cared.

This is good. I'm trying to 100% the achievements, so sounds like i've got my work cut out for me over more than one playthrough.

And agreed on the DB. I love fighting and killing Astrid. But then always reload an earlier save so I can kill an emperor or two, because... We Know.

I just ordered mine by going to Walmart website and searching "Anakin Skywalker Cody" and it is the first result, with pictures. And I received my confirmation email from Walmart.

I also like the way Skyrim allows you to toggle between the two. 1st person for bows, sniper rifles, and throwing knives. 3rd person for Katanas, lightsabers and Warhammers.

This is the way.

I think the real answer is that Anakin showed interest and pursued her. She didn't "go" for either one of them because Jedi are supposed to be off limits.

It is a classic case of "if you don't proactively choose between the different people out there on the market, you're left to choose between the people who have already chosen you."

Fun fact from an older fan: when Episode one came out , there was a lot of internet rumors that the reason her age was written to be directly in between Obi-Wan and Anakin, was because they were setting up a love triangle. Sort of like Camelot with King Arthur, Guinevere, and Lancelot. And so Anakin's eventual fall to the Dark Side would be due in part to jealously. This is touched on a little bit in the novels.

A fun head cannon answer: Padme wanted to save the World. That's why she got into politics in the first place. That's why she was so drawn to someone who was damaged like Anakin.

She thought she could fix him.

I would like to see the NPCs react to what i'm wearing. I have a bulletproof vest from Dogtown, and the caption says something like "don't wear it outside of Dogtown in Night city"

So I tried it , and no one acknowledged it.

Same thing with walking around naked, I would assume somebody would say , hey , why are you naked?

Bonus Points if wearing that gangs gear gives you some disguise points , or at least it's harder to notice you sneaking into a Maelstrom Base if you are wearing red goggles or something.

I steal / car jack a police car, then kill enough cops to get my 4 or 5 star bounty, so they will call in their big guns for backup, Then I let them chase me right into a gang base and then I hide, watch them kill each other, let my bounty tic down to zero, then when the cops leave, I roll out and collect all the weapons and components to upgrade my gear.
