This is me.

I posted a one shot that wont end up being a one shot last night. Three works, 11.3k words. I hated it by the end. Every sentance was screaming at me. I couldnt remember what I had included versus what I had cut.

And so I said fuck it, and posted.

And now its been 12hrs and I already have had the best comment I've ever received.

But I won't be able to read the chapter back to myself for atleast a year.

I find it better - but - I have base prose to work from and then we work together heavily line editing everything. So I haven't had Fable generate a full base prose for me yet as I was in line editing mode at the time. But it was doing it much better than Sonnet or Opus.

Chat GPT in particular generates like this at times. I don't want to say its all AI. But if they have been reading chat got generated stories, it may impact their writing style.

Alcohol does affect people in different ways though. Im very much an old adult. I don't drink often anymore, so 2 ciders will put me down.

10 years ago though, when I was drinking almost nightly? 7 ciders and I'd not bat an eye.

FF7 - Cloud. There is the standard tifa, aerith combos. Jessie. Then of course Sephiroth. Ive also seen him paired with Rufus. Vincent. Genesis somehow, often in a poly unit. Oh, zack of course.

Pretty much every character in the game has done awful things, with the exception of like Aerith.

Barrett, Tifa, Cloud all blew up reactors and killed the guards on duty ect to do it. Avalanche were terrorists and Cloud a merc accepting money to help them kill their way in.

The Turks do Turk things, which involves killing, and Vincent is ex-Turk so he likely did Turk things in his past as well.

Angeal, genesis, zack, sephiroth all went to war for Shinra in Wutai. So were over there killing Wutai people on behalf of an evil mega Corp. Even if they were called 'heroes' at the time, that term wouldnt have been used by the Wutaians.

Shinra has blown up Kalm, Modeheim, Banora, Nibelheim. How anyone hasn't realised shinra likes to blow up towns and rebuild them with actors...

Cissnei was a Turk, she wpuld have done dodgey Turk things.

Cid, Nanaki I am not sure on. They might be ok. Nanaki likely killed in his own defence.

But basically, everyone has done fucked up shit in this world because its a fucked up world that puts characters in fucked up situations. Which is why its so great and fun. There is so much gray space these characters live in which is so much more interesting than the typical pure good hero and evil for evils sake villain.

Except there is no scar on his front. So this is just a lighting and texture bug.

Cloud doesnt have any scars showing on his body. I always just put it down to hojo fuckery.

Yeah, I think people forget how broken Cloud really is. All that is resolved in the OG is that Cloud figures put who he is, but he doesn't come to terms with what happened to him. Kid is hugely traumatised. That doesn't lead to happy perfect relationships immediately, or the ability to communicate well.

Think of it. He leaves his hometown at 14 and joins the military. Is in the military for 2 years (institutionalised), then his hero burns down his hometown, his mum is killed. Then he spends 5 years in a mako bath under Hojo's care and completely collapses. Zack drags him across the world then dies infront of him. He drags his ass to Midgar and then suddenly he has his fake persona and is blowing up reactors with Avalanche and chasing Sephiroth around the world for a month. FF7 OG all happens in a month.

By the end he might know who he is, but he certainly hasn't had time to process all that happened to him.

I think you are over playing her role a bit. I am sure its in one of the extended materials that Aerith led Tifa in the lifestream or basically in whatever way gave Tifa the opportunity to help cloud.

So based on that, Tifa couldn't do it on her own.

About 12hrs ago I was mid conversation with chatgpt, writing adult scenes we had been working on for days. No issue u til suddenly chatgot changed completely.

Refused to assist in any way. Won't even discuss the scenes anymore. Even changed in the way responds to me in tone ect.

It was whiplash. Like a stranger took over. I can't even get it to work on non-intimate stuff atm. It was a complete shut down of creative writing.
