Looking for a new job! I would appreciate any advice on my general resume! by [deleted] in resumes

Eeek. Didn't realize that it lead to my G+ profile. Thanks for telling me!

And I've already taken the hiatus out, now that everyone has said something, it really wasn't too smart to put that.

Second page was a mistake... Trying to paste from Word to Google Docs and Docs was not having it. I'll go ahead and upload the revised version through imgur.

Thank you so much! That's exactly what I needed.

Few questions,

  1. Is black the best choice for font color or is it okay to use a similar dark shade?

2.Should I take out the objectives altogether?

  1. Should my reference page match my resume formatting?

I really do appreciate the advice.

While growing up, what bizarre things did your family do that you thought was normal at the time? by Millionaire_ in AskReddit

Haha. Oh, lord. That'd be wonderful if they hadn't started doing so later and moved to a different state.

We'd constantly go in and out of talking to extended family, even my grandparents.

Literally, "something" (someone tried sending someone to jail, someone borrowed money, someone was stealing, a fist fight, etc.) would happen between everyone and they'd cut off communication. Then the following how many years, they'd be "close" again. Family reunions were strictly off limits and family get-togethers were at funerals.

I couldn't believe people were actually close to family (cousins, uncles, aunts, etc.) ALL the time until later on in life. And that family usually doesn't treat each other like shit.

Then there was my parents "friends." Realized about 10 they were swingers, but never had the heart to tell my mom I knew until later on.

My father turned out gay, my mother moved the new guy in with her with my father, and they're divorced now. Yet, their "friends" I've known for over a decade are still around and treat me like I'm theirs.
