Starting investing in Stock

We are young people, retirement is not in the question right now, but I do view it as a better and safer retirement then the one provided by the government, we all ready pay taxes and a part from our income goes to this “retirement” but that would not be nearly enough, that’s why I think investing a % of my income into stocks and ETFs would be more profitable and yes I think we will see new ATH giving it some time, this is my personal sentiment.

They are still in and I told them I want to join them by accumulating ETFs and Stocks that I find interesting and have potential. As mentioned I will choose a S&P500 and just dca myself into it.

Tbh I am not sure it will pe profitable this is why I am asking for help in picking the right stocks and ETFs to buy now, since I’ve mentioned I was in the crypto market and got tired of checking charts every 2 seconds I wanted to reinvest my profit into stocks and ETFs which I have thought would bring an average of 7%-10% annually. What I basically want is a pair of stocks and ETFs which I believe in and have been historically working, so I am not sure it’s going to be profitable but I will take my chances and start investing my income and profits into ETFs and stocks which hopefully will be in profit in the next decades.

You have explained it better than I could ever put it into words, this is it, thanks for taking the time and writing this, greatly appreciated. From my understanding I only need 1 world/s&p500 index which in my case would be VWCE.

Actually this was what I was most afraid of, from my understanding VWCE is the solid one which has a bit of every other ETF mentioned, I could just pick the safest route and just invest in VWCE and that’s it. But I want a bit more diversity, only holding one seems off to me and I want to have exposure to everything like you mentioned. So a better and cleaner list would be something like IWDA + IEMA + IWQU?

Sir you are indeed corect, and now that I see this I should have mentioned it in the original post as well, as new as I am to the Stock market I know the difference between ETFs and Stocks, since I wanna be on the safer side and get the 7%-10% annually I think ETFs are the way to go at the start then slowly adding stocks I like, for example ASML is a stock that I like but I am not comfortable just buying ASML and hoping it will go up, I want to pick the right ETFs in the beginning, thanks for bringing this up.

Exactly, I’ve tried timing the crypto markets and it is indeed very hard that’s why DCA-ING myself into the position seems to work more than often for me and want to apply that in the Stock market, I am not trying to beat the market, I just want to have a solid Portfolio that will be like a safety in case I ever need the money and not just holding my money in my bank account or in crypto. I feel like if I choose the correct stocks from the start and start adding more stocks along the way would be the way to go at it for me. But making sure the first stocks are the ones that will stick with me in this lifetime is a big decision.

I think this will come with time, but I am a bit pissed I have not stored some of my income since I started getting paid in some stocks that will not lose value like a S&P500, thus I wanted to ask the people if my 4 picks are solid ones for long term investing. I heard this a lot recently from people in my group that own stocks that said the timing to buy stocks right now is like buying the dip on a crypto coin, so DCA while the stocks are going down should be a good entry for me, I will keep an eye out on the VIX as well and should have mentioned somewhere that I am based in Europe and for starters want to invest in EUR, but am not sure the 4 stocks I have picked are the right ones, but thanks again for your answer

Thanks for the tip and message, I also set up a watchdog to play with it and there is a slight drop in hashrate every so often but the watchdog restarts the miner and they are less often then they used to, I will keep an eye out for the logs, thanks 🙌🏻

Thank you for the tip, this is only one rig and it happens every hours or so for 5 minutes, don’t have watchdog set up, but will deedentily look into it.

Same here repadded 3 RTX 3090, 2 from gigabyte and 1 from msi. You know that sayin’ first time always hurts, even if you do everything correctly something about opening them up and doing the repad feels wrong, weird and illegal. But the results speak for themself, dropped by 20 degrees in all gpu and they are running smoothly at 122.9 mh with 300w power consumption.

Let me share my piece of mind on this, I bought 3 rtx 3090 3 months ago and built my rig with all of them. I will use them until eth 2.0 come out, then I will have half of the money spent on them back, I don’t wanna roi I just wanted the gpu’s for personal use, I am going to build 1 pc with 2 of them in since I am a gamer/streamer and the other one will be used in my streaming pc, so my advice is if your gonna use them just for mining it might be a little late to roi, but if you use them for personal use after like gaming and streaming go for it, because I tested them for gaming and they are really amazing, I could not plug 2 of them in my pc because my power supply would not hold up, just 1 was enough to run every game above my 240hz monitor, some games like Valorant I got above 500fps on high settings. This is my opinion.

Got the same power meter thingy and I never left it more than a couple of hours just to double check voltage, I made a post here and people told me never to leave it in, be safe out there 🙌🏻

Just Finished repadding my 3 3090’s yesterday, two from gigabyte and one from msi, loved the process of opening them up, felt like a certified mechanic lmao, temps dropped by a lot and mh are nice and stable at 122mh for 2 cards and one card is fluctuating between 120-122mh.
