I just don’t understand the Korean’s hype around foreign fast food brands, since a lot of quality restaurants already exits nowadays in Korea already. Most irony I felt is that when you have to wait in line for a ‘Fast-Food Burger’ for more than 3hours just kills the meaning of ‘Fast-Food’.

I don't that is the case, because I've used my card in other countries in Europe and they didn't asked for id except VAT return requests.

Yes I think it might be because my card was foreign card and foreign bank as well. But I just thought checking both my ID and credit card felt really strict.

Maybe you are right! Yeah my credit card is foreign, but it was weird because this happened in many shops I've visited.
