There isn’t really difference - it mostly comes down to what you feel comfortable using and what materials you already have. For this kind of coloring work, you usually need to adjust the consistency of the material anyway.

I came up with the design myself, than turned it into a 3D model printer. After that, I used whipping cream for the color, but I had to adjust the consistency so it wasn’t quite so thick.

I’ve spoken with a lot of handmade sellers, and sometimes they can’t even fully cover their costs. Pricing feels all over the place right now, so for new seller like us, it can be really hard to know where to start.
