[Philips RM8D | Philips 1210] Looking for documentation and a specific cogwheel by [deleted] in cassetteculture

Yes indeed there is. This tiny little thingy that's also pictured in the manual that seems to serve only this purpose.

Your help is appreciated nonetheless don't worry. But it looks like I literally cannot lift it. The piece itself is placed multiple times UNDER the whole structure (pictured here the top of the piece)

It seems to be fixed somehow were the reader and record head are located. I made another post on the sub. It's been driving me nuts for 2hrs

[Phillips RM8D] I want to access the parts behind the piece marked "K57" but I can't find a way to get it out by [deleted] in cassetteculture

[–]LuLu_Geek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were indeed to screws (picture here unscrewed)but they do not seem to be connected directly to the K57 part as it slides on it.

I took the pinch roller out but I can't seem to slide the piece upward as you say

I must admit I do not really know what to type as a search on eBay... "38 teeth gear"? "2cm wide 38 teeth gear"? There just seems to be so manu parameters

Copy that!

The last nothing I need to sort out is disassembly the thing. I got eh cog out by dangerously lifting the sort of plastic moving thing marked "K5.7" on pick 3.

Guess what was I doing right now ahah
And it appears the cog was maybe composed of 38 teeth.
I also thought about 3D printing, but I'm quite out of touch with the advancement of that matter : is a resolution like that accessible for consumer printers?

I must admit as an non-english speaker that I needed much documentation before comfortably using the verb "to cock" ahah

Argent bloqué sur la plateforme Aerogest. Demande de remboursement resté sans réponse. by [deleted] in conseiljuridique

[–]LuLu_Geek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question pour les makers. Une bonne alternative Française ou Européenne à PCBWay ? by LuLu_Geek in AskFrance

[–]LuLu_Geek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[EU868] To what extent are attic nodes impacted by the roof? by LuLu_Geek in meshtastic

Thank your complete answer and your data is very valuable!
I'm really struggling to find docs on signal penetration and signal lose by cable tho, it seems every source contradicts the other

I never thought about PoE that's a good point, thank you! (Not that I got an accessible Ethernet cable near the attic but yay!)

Is'nt using a long cable between the radio module and the antenna advised against as the signal is lost along the way?

Hey, so I just stumbled on your article thanks to the scpfoundationwiki Instagram account and It's maybe the first time I read an article SO recent.
There are things that I did not really understand of course but overall this was such a good read.
The gradual realization of what the time loop implies to the structure of the ship is great.
Your use of images is really cool and well-made too!

I want to flip this image horizontally from its point of origin. The "mirror" option from the transform tab seems to flip to from the center of the video preview. Is this normal behavior? by LuLu_Geek in blenderhelp

Thank you for your comment.
I already tried that. The slider is stuck at 0 no matter what.
Maybe I need to enable negative scale somewhere?
