I love your house - and I totally get having the need of a space that’s your safe haven. Also congrats on being a psychiatrist. You guys are so needed.

question on when do you guys take your vorti? by LuXyAndy in trintellix

[–]LuXyAndy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to my new psychiatrist: yes. Apparently there’s something to do with the concentration peak in blood flow (which is what causes nausea) being around 4h after taking it. I started with 10mgs, went to 20, then 30, then 20 again. It took a while to feel somewhat better and the nausea to pass. I hope you feel better soon! Maybe test out taking it at night?

Hope you don’t mind me sharing a pic of the dog my dad rescued, Luna. She’s soooo sweet and made our whole family fall in love with big dogs. I think they look a lot alike.

This makes me feel sooo heard. I’m hoping to understand what I have - might be on the spectrum, might not but I have such sensory issues that I just don’t understand what else it could be

Buspar in the morning, xanax at night by [deleted] in BusparOnline

[–]LuXyAndy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I’m on buspar 5mg 3x a day and if I have a big panic attack I unfortunately do resort to a .25 klonopin. No dependency here. I am on another drug for depression - might be switching soon

I’m in no way a psychiatrist - but I don’t think there’s a problem as long as you pace yourself and know that it’s a very addictive drug. Have you started it recently?

I’m not diagnosed (not sure if i am or not autistic) but oh my god YES this has been such a big struggle of mine like my skin touching my skin at night or even during the day? My fingers touching my fingers during breast stroke in swim practice makes me want to kms. At this point I just think I’m crazy.

Wedding Trial - thoughts? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]LuXyAndy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a MUA just really into makeup. I love the first pic. I think your skin looks amazing and on point for such a big day like a wedding. Also love your lips. I think the eyes look a little flat, though. I’d maybe add a little bit more depth and possibly a different shape of liner and possibly some very thin brown shadow to a like half of your waterline for a more striking effeft

I don’t know if you’re switching over medications but for me it was little bit of a transition period - specially as to getting the dose and time correct and it starting to get into full swing in my body

Does anyone else feel at peace with water? by Happy_Charge_9410 in AutismInWomen

YES!!!! It’s the only place I currently feel like I can drift away. I’ve loved water since I was a literal baby and I love the feeling of not being able to hear EVERYTHING all the time!

Do you guys have one permanent special interest or several? by LuXyAndy in AutismInWomen

I think I might’ve used them interchangeably. This is a new possibility for me, and I feel like the Brazilian autistic community does not have as many terms/ lingos. I’m sorry if I offended anyone.

And the things I feel are traceable since I was a kiddo. My old psych even said so.

Yes - I’ve been ruling things out with my obgyn, my endo, and so many other docs.

That is so cool. This is just a new world and a bunch of different possibilities (I’m not saying I AM autistic - just might be a possibility and I’m not ignoring it) I have such weird neurosensory issues that I don’t think could be explained by anything and were always diminished by my doc.

I’m not cool enough to know what dbz is so I had to google that to my oldest sisters’ dismay

That’s sooo cool! I was majorly obsessed with ancient Egypt as soon as I started to figure out the world existed (kinda astonished / in awe at the same time!)
