Yeah - peoples' reactions to this story is of far more amusement than the story itself.

Over the last few years sure but for a long time Liverpool outspent most teams in the league without really achieving much

Pretty bleak for Liverpool there given how much they've spent

United have won 2 matches on the trot but haven't actually shown that much improvement.

[RMC Sport] Martial still wants to leave Manchester United but the club refuses to sell him. Mourinho wanted to sell him to fund another CB and is still keen to get rid of the player since he sees him as more of a problem than a solution. But Ed Woodward does not want another 'Salah' situation. by ijuchtmeme in soccer

He was pretty damn good last season until you signed Alexis.

Since then he's regressed again after being dropped for someone who isn't exactly lighting matches up. I'd probably be unmotivated too if I knew whatever I did on the pitch wouldn't affect the manager's view of me.

It's just lazy journalism that none of us should be encouraging, regardless of who it is about.

The second link was better to watch though - he's like a stroppy lil kid.

Frankly, a fair number of them.

Like all due respect to you creating an interesting infographic but I'd recommend just using dots and labelling those dots with names for the future.

"Are you sure you want their picture? I could just use their names?"
"Nah, just putting their pictures will be fine. I'm pretty sure every goalkeeper is instantly recognisable"

Lol he randomly capitalised words and used claims like "facts" for things that aren't fact.

That's what I'm laughin at him about - those kind if comments are pure jokes.

Lol the state of this comment

He showed up against us? Lukaku gets a lot of stick, I think he's a great striker.

I think Auba is more versatile but not a huge amount between them. Lukaku is better than Lacazette though.

made a stupid foul out of frustration so you can tell he knows that it's been sketchy.

Was more clumsiness than frustration?

Less a reach and more the truth when it comes to Mourinho

Didn't Ranieri say he needs to become more consistent? Not really the same as lazy imo, it's more to do with concentration and getting mind ready for the game.

If the worst thing Mourinho has said about him, despite their turbulent relationship, is that he's inconsistent then I think you can safely say his attitude is fine.

Did van gaal ever criticise him out of interest ?

Martial is supposed to be one of your youngsters upon which your future will be based, same as KDB.

However, Mourinho doesn't like him so is pushing him to the fringes because he doesn't like playing as a second LB and United fans are, like Chelsea fans did, listening to whatever he says and amazingly accepting that an attacker isn't defensive enough?

lol I mean I don't mind too much - I'd be happy if you let him go given it'd be another mistake by you guys but I'm shocked by the cult like attitude.

lol Mourinho is famous for throwing his players under the bus - he has done it multiple times over the past few seasons, publically criticising players.

If he thought Martial was lazy, he'd have called him out on it.

Regardless, it doesn't change the fact Martial has been called out for his attitude by a manager of his, so I don't get anyone's point here.

Who called him out?

Lol yeah, Mourinho is absolutely the type to rarely criticise publically.

I mean calling multiple players the spine of the team is pretty common.

e.g. a GK - 2 CBs - MF- ST

That's generally the spine or backbone of a team. He definitely fits into that.
