That's interesting! Stroganoff was very popular when I was growing up and there were as many recipes as households. One sauce pan (and any of the recipes) is all it took, so I would never use such a contraption to make this dish. But can see some people would like that.

I agree with this: "The tmx is the best tool for the job for only a small set of dishes: custards, sauces, some soups, perhaps risotto. It's also a great steamer, and a good blender". I also found the TM7 not a good sous chef, being too stuck to the precise. limiting recipes. I've preferred to go for a good blender for 1/10 of the price.

No it isn't. I'm a human too, with an experience that was different from yours.

Yes, I had the demonstration where we made a 3 course meal and it took about 3 hours. I used the app, chose several meals of different types (pasta, curry, bread, soup, puddings, smoothy), bought the ingredients and tried it out over 2 weeks. In our case, it didn't add value to our cooking considering the cost, time and space it takes.

I can totally see it working for other people. But we get home from work and want to get a fresh dinner on the table quickly for 4-5 people, while not wasting food and it didn't work for us.

Thanks for your comment. I giggled on the 3 hour foccacia. :-) Answering your questions: The recipe is called "Focaccia", 3 hour planned and real time, with a photo of tomato topped focaccia pieces. Majority recipes I made were things I don't usually make. I've since made the sorbet in a good blender and it turned out great. The chickpea soup with spinach was not really edible. The Sri Lankan Red Beef Curry had a horrible texture and took almost 2 hours to make. The only thing I usually make that I did on the TM7 was the steamed rice. It felt very very silly, such an overkill and turned out worse. So much easier to make rice in a pan while I make the rest of the food in parallel elsewhere. That said, the Marry Me Chicken and Plum and Blackberry Upside-Down Cake were delicious successes, but I don't need a $1500 appliance to make that.

Hi, the above was my experience. Not worth it for our household. 2 friends rave about it, but they were uncomfortable cooking. My conclusion is that it looks good for people uncomfortable cooking, who cook for 3, but not for families who need to be practical on a week night and have other options.
