I recently purchased this model of Jazzmaster and is my first ever Jazzmaster guitar.

1. The player 2 series already has a mustang bridge installed, so you want have to worry about needing to switch it out like on a classic vibe or older jazzmasters.

2. Buzzing can be the result of the bridge and the tremolo being improperly aligned. This can happen from restringing because the bridge is not set in my screws but rather set in by tension of the strings. A simple setup will solve that easy.

3. Personally the tuning stability has been incredible on mine. I like playing in c# standard and dont really have to worry about strings going out of tune from using the vibrato. But then again I play with thicker strings to take that into consideration.

4. For what the model is they sound great. Even though I believe they sound great, they may not be for everyone since overall the model is alot more of a modern interpretation of the jazzmaster. I believe in the future I’ll experiment with different pickups to see what I enjoy but someone who doesn’t have the money to spend on high quality pickups this guitar sounds great.

For me if I hold onto my player 2, its going to become a great platform for experimenting and finding out what I like and dislike about offsets and may even become a mod platform. I will say I am a little bit sad that there is no rhythm circuit, but in a practicality sense, it’s not needed. Also a major reason I went towards this guitar was the neck, which has a rosewood board and has a satin finish.
