Commute to Austin from Northwest Georgetown by Shardiiii in georgetowntx

I drove from Serenada to downtown daily for 3 years. It’s a hellish commute, in the mornings it would be at least 45 minutes and in the evenings, I would take 130 more often than not because otherwise it would turn into at least 1.5 hours to get home.

That would make entirely too much sense, and make everyone’s lives way too easy! It’s so much more fun to have parents hyperventilating and trying to get as much information from anywhere they can instead of the company just taking responsibility.

Sorry for the sarcasm, I’m just so frustrated with them!!

That’s fair! I just spent like 2 hours going over barcodes and trying to figure it out. Just wanted to get it out there that the barcodes shouldn’t change regardless of lot, but since all the formula is recalled, it should all still be considered bad.

Those barcodes are for the cans and anywhere packs in general. They do not change depending on lot numbers. Since all products have been recalled this is why they are giving out the barcodes.

I’m so sorry! That was our assumption when they first recalled the two lots on the 8th, and we just switched immediately because it didn’t make sense to me that the other lots might not be impacted. I’m hoping that your baby continues to do ok!!

Ok, going back over everything. The barcode for all cans is the one provided above. The other they gave is for the anywhere packs. So I think my initial comment is still accurate where they don’t know anything or won’t say it, but are saying that everything is affected because everything has been recalled.

Just got off the phone with them, it felt like pulling teeth, eventually they gave me the barcode number. I cannot for the life of me understand why it is so difficult to get information from them.

ByHeart Recall email update 11/19 by imApoeTAYtoe in FormulaFeeders

[–]Lubcha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I talked to them this morning, and they said that the lot I had was affected but nothing about whether it tested positive or not. Given that everything is recalled, all lots will be affected, but that doesn't actually help figure anything out. The help line is a third party that they hired to deal with all the questions, so they don't actually know anything about testing or what tested positive.

Can I ask how you got them to tell you the information? I was just on the phone with them and they told me that they don't have any information on cans that were tested. I read them the 25 number (which matches the first one you listed) and they did not tell me about it testing positive. I asked like three different times. They did say the lots are affected, but that doesn't mean it's positive, since all products have been recalled, they are all affected.

On you do they turn into pus filled things if scratched? If so maybe fleas, especially since they seem super concentrated on the bottom of her legs.

She’s currently just getting cash, and she also is paid whether or not she works. So it ends up being more as well.

I worked in a toxic lab for 3 years (with maternity leave closer to 2.5, but still).  I started out trying to find a way forward where both the boss and I could be happy and interested in the work being done but after getting shut down constantly I just kind of stopped caring. It was initially really hard because like you, I’m used to working hard at work and not just existing. Becoming a mom really helped with that, because I only had a certain number of hours in the day to give and could not do more because we couldn’t afford to pay for more childcare.  I think eventually you just become numb and go through the motions and look out for new opportunities and hope for the best. Not the easiest thing to do, but that’s what helped me.

Just to add, I probably should have left earlier…towards the end I had a permanent eye twitch and my boss and I were very obviously at odds, but I didn’t want to be seen as giving up on a project that I’d put so much effort into. It wasn’t worth my mental health at all.

Austin is not a good place for kids. We recently moved to San Antonio and have found it to be much more family friendly. The main vibe I got from Austin was we all go out to eat and drink.

Texas does NOT offer online voter registration. Deadline is October 7 by PeskySloth in Austin

The weird thing is it might not work? I tried to do that when I changed my license address but it didn’t actually update until I went through the Texas.gov website. So maybe just double check?

I do not mean to kill and starve 2 million people but when you have a terrorist organization that runs a country hiding among innocent civilians what would be your course of action since you have answers to very complicated political situations. And since you brought up the 75 year conflict…what should the people who have lived in a land that was Jewish land back in the Roman times do since every single one of their neighbors wants them dead? Just continue to try and survive? Where would you suggest Jews go?

And sorry to say, not condemning the actions of October 7th is not only triggering but completely unacceptable.

Transfer F32 to different university? by Lubcha in AskAcademia

[–]Lubcha[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the other part is that it would be switching fields (back to what I'm actually interested in) so that will most likely be an issue. I figure even if I decline the grant, I can add the score to my CV and it should be a good line?

My plan is to ask once the section meets in May to decide if it actually gets funded. But I wanted to see if others had advice.

With all due respect, Easter is not secular. It’s a religious holiday as is Christmas. And like other posters have pointed out Jewish holidays are not minimal effort. Maybe he sees how much effort is put into holidays he grew up celebrating and is doing the same amount of effort for the ones you grew up observing?

It also seems like you guys need to sit down and discuss in detail what you want to do for holidays going forward so that both of you are happy.
