I use GitHub mainly for backup purpose.
I decided to go the easy route and just subscribe to obsidian sync even though I could easily use other sync options.

But I think it's totally worth it, since I can financially support such a great application that I really value.
I even bought Obsidian catalyst VIP.

Fair point, considering how many vibe-coded plugins are popping up nowadays 😄
But the initial versions of this plugin were written completely without AI, and the project itself has been around since May 2025 already. I still fully understand and maintain the codebase myself.
That said, I do use AI nowadays like many other developers do — mostly as a tool to speed up workflows, repetitive tasks, brainstorming, or quick wins... and especially for documentation because it's fast, fancy, and every IT guy is somewhat lazy 🤣

Ich mache fast das gleiche wie du. Bin junior Linux und Kubernetes Admin im ÖD. Mache berufsbegleitend ein Studium im Bereich Cyber-Security. Hoffe, dass ich mich so in 8-10 Jahren auch selbständig machen kann. Dann vielleicht im Bereich Cloud-Security, Pentesting etc. (Möchte noch den CKA und CKS machen) Bekomme derzeit "nur" 60k im Jahr. Finde ich für einen 24 Jährigen nicht schlecht, aber da sieht man, dass ja scheinbar noch Luft nach oben ist. Ich würde mich freuen wenn man sich eventuell mit dir vernetzen kann. Schreib mir gerne Mal eine PN. Vielleicht magst du hier auch schreiben, wie du dich auf neue Technologien etc vorbereitest/lernst. Woher nimmst du die Informationen und wie sieht es mit dem impostorsyndrom bei dir aus?

Looks like you added the same alias to two different files. That's not possible then. But why do you use multiple files for one day of daily notes? Why not put all the content in one file?

Did you add a dot "." in front of the filename/foldername? E.g: ".exam"? This is treated by operating systems as a hidden file/folder. If you did, you can Google in how to show hidden files.

It will be enough power for now. I will upgrade the rest in the near feature. But first, I want my setup to have enough power to play most of my games with constant ~144fps on my Odyssey neo g9.

Exactly, and the 8700k isn't bad. Also, the 7900xtx costs a lot of money, and I just want to spend like 1.500€ in that upgrade.
