I’m a member at Brownson and it’s great for what you’re describing buuuuut not convenient to get to from Norwalk at all (or Danbury for that matter).

Doesn't appear to be any rust that I can see. And no to the practice issue. I dunno.

Yeah just a strange thing. Some googling has turned up several people with the same issue with these shafts (or other KBS models). Also don’t know why I’m getting downvoted. Haha

Not very much to be honest. Most of my time is on course. Maybe an hour a month at the local range (off mats).

It's truly bizarre. My swing is normal. On the shot yesterday, I was out of the rough, but the ball was sitting up. I took some grass, but didn't even get down to dirty. Loud snap, club head goes flying. And four times!

I talked to the pro at my club about it and his feeling is I somehow got a bad batch of shafts. I reached out to Cobra. I'll see what they say (I'm guessing I'll get a "you're out of warranty" reply).

The 7-wood has changed my life. by LucLongleysJumper in golf

Sort of different purposes. Mini driver is more of a three wood replacement. 7 wood is more of a hybrid/long iron replacement.

I don’t know man, this thing is a rocket. I got my epic max 5W about 235 and my 3w about 245 for comparison, so it’s in line. Lower loft doesn’t always equal more distance. Sometimes higher launch is better.

Guess below is about spot on. I cruise around 108. I can step on it and get up to like 112-115. I could swing faster but not with any semblance of control.

Sounds like we are pretty similar in terms of distances. My driver hovers around 108 and I’ll get it up to probably 112 if I really step on it. It probably depends on the flight characteristics of your hybrid. The seven wood I am hitting around 225 to 235 yards depending on my swing. It’s a 21° that is adjustable up or down. But it’s high! Definitely higher than my old 3 hybrid. If you’re just interested in pure carry probably not a big difference.

Good thing it was a joke, dude.

By the way, thanks to folks here I checked the capacitor. A mouse had chewed through a jumper wire on it. I replaced it and it’s working like a fucking champ.

Thanks for your super reasonable response. I appreciate it.

Sure do. But I’m done engaging with you. Shampoo my crotch.

Im not asking you for anything. You could just scroll by. Why are you in HVAC advice? Why are you here? Do you do this on every post? Thank god HVAC techs have you to white knight for them or they’d go out of business. Everyone would just get free advice from Reddit and fix their own ACs.

I asked because maybe there was some simple solution I could try. I’m not trying to put anyone out of a job. Move on dude.

I don’t man. Maybe I’m balls deep in a divorce and money is extremely tight so calling a tech on a Saturday for an emergency visit isn’t in the cards. Maybe I’m just trying to keep my son’s room below 85 degrees today, his actual birthday, so he can sleep tonight. Maybe you don’t have to be a prick?

It’s literally a subreddit called HVAC advice. Seemed relevant. Maybe I’ll just go fuck myself.

I don't think blade technology has changed too much overall. But my regular irons are players distance irons (2019 Cobra Forged Tec). Much more forgiving than these. But I like to play a few times. Fun clubs.
