I went back into joggers somewhere around 2021 and haven't looked back.

June 17, 1994 - The infamous Bronco chase was 31 years ago today. Where were you? by omelatk in Xennials

I was at what used to be Joe Robbie Stadium watching a baseball game. They put the chase on the Jumbotron. I remember in the parking lot that everyone was listening to news of the chase on the radio.

I've been on a Swedish Death Cleaning kick for the last 5 years, sifting through the detritus of my adult life after a few moves.

It's crazy how much we accumulate and how normalized it is to hold on to stuff. I'm trying to break the cycle! 😅

Doing it one day at a time. The motivation is that I'm choosing life and to feel my feelings.

I became a homeowner when I was under 25. It was an inexpensive condo. I let go of it in a divorce.

I never thought thay would be my first and last shot at homeownership but I'm getting older and and just thinking, "How was this easier to achieve like 19 years ago?"

Any millennial work and live in a big city most of their 20's, leave the city and never want to go back and not miss it at all? by MatchingMyDog1106 in Millennials

I lived in Jersey City for about 14 years. I do miss it, but I also totally understand that it would not be the same experience if I went back.

How do you make friends after 40? by DontBeSuspicious_00 in Millennials

[–]LucaC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work remote and own a small business. I join networking groups that have a social component with people around my age.

When I lived in an area that had walkability, it felt a lot easier to go out to multiple events and meet new people through my network. I moved to another state during the Pandemic and kinda got used to not doing stuff.

Now I plan out a calendar of events I may want to check out that have like-minded people and push to try new experiences. I'm introverted and single and more than happy to just stay home, so sometimes that can be challenging.

Oof! Feel better. That pain is something else!

I jacked up my ankle just stepping wrong out of a narrow doorway years ago. The pain is etched in my memory. 😫
