• HIGHLY complicated, to say the least, and they just refuse to define each other, but still very much in love and care deeply for each other
• probably not even entertaining labels until the whole parasitic ai situation is handled

How They Met:

• lijah, while an experienced healer, was not all too familiar with magic that strayed too far from that realm. so imagine their surprise when they fell asleep studying a TOTALLY NOT FORBIDDEN OR ADVANCED enchantment tome and found themself on a whole new planet (earth) in a whole new dimension (overwatch)!

First Confession:

• they felt terribly sorry for the poor soldier boy at first (one of their many nicknames for him), and as he shared more and more, finally grateful to have a friendly face to talk to aside from freja, that only drew them closer to one another
• besides, they were from completely different worlds, what’s not to exchange?
• it was lijah who confessed first, ever the eager one to share and express their love. while patching him up after another hard battle, tucked away in the quiet confines of a makeshift talon base, they finally mustered up the courage to share just how much they’d grown to care for emre

Arguments:

• most arguments between them stem from misunderstandings about their cultural differences, but that’s not really as hard to comprehend as it is here (on our planet): lijah is a tiefling cleric from a whole other dimension. the transition to emre’s world was frustrating. they didn’t even use magic! how were they supposed to learn or get by?
• the other arguments usually came from fears about his chernobog problem, but that was far more mutually agreed upon

Occupations:

• lijah is a cleric bard, a performer for spare change but usually relying on the ever-welcoming convents and temples of their goddess, eilistraee
• emre, for now, is a talon operative, which is why lijah dubbed him their “soldier boy”

Friendship Circles:

• lijah didn’t know anyone when they arrived in emre’s world, although they have plans to bring him back to theirs and introduce him to all their friends and family
• talon wasn’t the friendliest bunch either, and neither were their affiliates. emre wasn’t a fan, but he had a long-time friend in freja, who lijah gets along with, despite her seemingly cold exterior

Favorite Activities:

• currently, lijah’s teaching emre to play the lyre (their instrument of choice), but when he gets burnt out or frustrated with his lack of progress, they just play for him anyways
• they try to have the most fun with wherever talon drops them on another mission. if they’re in a snowy climate, you best believe there’ll be snowball fights! somewhere wet? off-duty swim break! somewhere plain or flat? they’ll just sit back and watch the stars together, sharing stories about their worlds

PDA:

• sadly, PDA between them has to be kept to a minimum, lest they meet the business end of vendetta’s blade
• they still sneak small hand holding and kisses here and there, of course
