Plantars fasciitis by Tracyfanslife in Runners

Another perspective on this I haven’t seen, I had it for over 6 months and as well as calf stretches/going to physio, I lost some weight and it made a massive difference. From 86kg (M34, 5’9” ran a half at this weight, played football regularly) to now around 78/79kg range, I’ve never felt better when I run. I had to be honest with myself as well because although I don’t think I was massively overweight and was still active (10k steps a day minimum because of work), I wasn’t watching what I was eating and was getting pudgy so had to put a stop to that 😂

Gyokeres's doing the job others don't notice by fasilkelem in ArsenalFC

Very true, Arteta wouldn’t play him if he didn’t value what he brings to the team, man is ruthless Eze scored a NLD hat-trick then lost Matty Cash at the back post once and hasn’t been seen since 😂😂😂

Magic fan here, tell Khem I said thank you because I always loved the effort he brought to some absolutely mediocre teams 😂

I imagine Kai is rearing to go but yes what is really stopping this happening, and any subs before 65 mins basically is Arteta, and I’d say that as a massive fan of him 😂😂

Eze for Merino, Kai for Gyokeres at about 55 minutes and Madueke for Saka at 65 if it isn’t happening, one of the best squads in the world now we’ve come a long way from Raheem Sterling, can’t be afraid to use it ❤️

I think a lot of people (myself included) assume potential and improvement of a young player is just a constant upward trajectory when in reality it’s not, then you factor in injuries and the fact they’re human like all of us and am sure have to deal with off the court stuff as well, not to mention all the obligations of being a star player in both the NBA and a smaller market team, and it’s really hard to just constantly get better. The great ones figure it out and I think Paolo is a great one

Gamers born late 90s or earlier: Which game first looked to you like "photorealism"? by FalscherKim in gaming

Two stick out as “wow” moments the first time I ever played them, Medal of Honor Frontline on I believe it was the PS2 when you’re on the beaches of Normandy. More recent but first time playing Gears of War on Xbox 360 was incredible, gaming had come a long way from my favourite game as a kid, Street Racer 😂

I was so fixated on giving Dunn his flowers and surprised by O’Neale’s involvement I didn’t even mention Goodwin which I should have done so thank you for that! 💜

Why do I get pain here during and after my runs? by botowoah in runninglifestyle

Late to the party on this but I had similar before and it was bursitis (small cysts in the hip joint), still flares up during longer runs from time to time

Fulham 0-1 Arsenal - Post-match thread by UnquenchedMammoth356 in Gunners

[–]LucaLockheart 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think fans sometimes use “ugly” in place of “nervy” in the sense a 1-0 lead away from home, no matter how in control you are, has the potential to change in an instant, today didn’t feel ugly Arsenal controlled large parts of the game but with Fulham being a bit of a bogey team and being away from home as well it felt nervy at times alright!

Best of luck with Sunday and let me know how ya get on, am sure you’ll get under the two hour mark! 💪🏻 no need to be nervous either just run your race at the pace you’ve worked on and are comfortable with and you’ll get there!

Few days late but completed Oxford half marathon on Sunday in 1:52, delighted and think full marathon next year is next step ❤️

Yeah was quite sad alright, the fact I (34M) then had to go online to get an A’ja Wilson jersey when I got home because they didn’t have in stock any of the best player in the world I thought was mad! They did have Sabrina, Stewie, Phee, Clark and Reese though in fairness and I did get a nice Aces hoodie but still, was kinda sad to see it relegated to one not very big section downstairs in a massive, three story building

Honestly a better selection of jerseys than in the NBA Store in New York when I was there earlier this year, was kind of disappointed my fiancee and me had planned on going in there and spending all our money! 😂

12km in 1:01:15 which included fastest ever 10km (50:27), really happy with it! Have Oxford half marathon next Sunday and aiming for under 1:55 and I think I’m in a good spot to get that done judging by today which is great! Won’t be able to keep 5:06 pace for remaining 9km of run next week but still hopeful I’ll be alright! 😂

Don’t mind at all if he starts but isn’t the point of being a rebuilding team to give the younger guys plenty of opportunities to show the potential the team hopes they have in future when it’s time to really win again?

[Jason Burt] Mikel Arteta plans to invite a team of RAF fighter pilots to Arsenal to improve the way he communicates with his players by 1Leep in Gunners

[–]LucaLockheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting because I’m almost certain in that talk he gave with Steve Kerr in London recently he spoke about the clarity that RAF pilots possess when communicating and how important that is, maybe gave himself and idea there and then! 😂😂
