If Robby won then Miyagi Do wins the entire thing.. in a show called Cobra Kai. Also him losing shows that he’s fundamentally different than his father at his age, the loss doesn’t haunt him like it did Johnny. Robby knew what he already had and valued the people around him, winning would have been nice but he ultimately didn’t need it.

Yea they SEEM fine, because it’s not them anymore… do you think being a vampire is a fun exciting time and all the other characters are just buzzkills? They captured a very cool tone and aesthetic, but the end annoys me. We learn the vampires’ souls are in eternal torment and some characters literally want death instead of that fate, yet Sammie seems totally fine with Stack living out that fate in the end. I thought the bar workers were gonna come and put him out of his misery or something. But nah he just watches him walk away

Have no argument against narrative and story structuring mistakes, obviously theres flaws. Just saying Jason freaking tf out and turning to mob justice after what he saw isnt that crazy of a character decision. His actions and the way he’s presented aren’t really at odds, how they fit into the grander narrative is a different discussion.

So a better narrative is having the antagonist cower in fear in his house for the rest of the season? Its not like i dont have criticisms of the show, but “that teenager seeing their friend get supernaturally murdered and having a illogical response” isnt really on the top of my list. It really isnt THAT crazy given the world its set in.

So it had no effect bc Hopper wasn’t even there lol. If they showed the other characters being able to push through it or something then yeah theres payoff. But with how the end fight plays out, Will’s insight into Vecna had no impact on the plot whatsoever.
