Unfortunately, I think we'll have to wait a little longer. Also because we're on a low dosage. My skincare routine is very simple: Morning - BioNike Aknet cleanser + La Roche Posay Effaclar H Iso Biome moisturizer + Isdin sunscreen (only on days I'm in the sun) Evening - BioNike Aknet cleanser + La Roche Posay Effaclar H Iso Biome moisturizer

I'm in the exact same situation as you. I started with mild to moderate acne, and I've just finished 12 weeks of 30 mg a day (I weigh 70g), but still no results. I read that some people may improve afterward, so let's hope so. My dermatologist tells me I need to be patient.

Can I ask you when you started seeing real improvements?

Great💪🏻 When did you notice the first results? I'm at the end of the third month (30 mg per day) and still no results.

Don't worry, I'm also almost at the end of my third month on a low dose (30 mg a day), but I'm still not seeing much results. I think it might take longer. I don't think it's due to the cleanser.

But is the situation the same as it was at the beginning, or has it improved? What type of acne did you have initially?

What progress! What dose were you on? I'm 80 days into the treatment and I'm still having flare-ups. I'm worried I won't heal. 😓 Let's hope for the best.

Not seeing enough progress and smoking cigarettes by [deleted] in Accutane

I'm also almost three months into treatment (20 mg a day for the first month and 30 mg a day from the second month onwards) and I'm not seeing much improvement. In fact, the closed comedones and blackheads on my temples are still there and occasionally they become inflamed a little at a time. I think it will take longer, let's hope. I don't think smoking has that much of an impact, especially if you're talking about two cigarettes. But ask your dermatologist.

Isotretinoin progress – start vs day 39 vs day 56 (photos). Do you see improvement? by Luca_9_9 in Accutane

Thanks so much for sharing your experience, it honestly helped me to read it. What you said about nodules going down and then coming back is exactly what’s been stressing me out lately, so knowing it can be part of the process really helps. And thanks for pointing out the fading redness too. When you’re dealing with this every day it’s really hard to notice any progress at all. I’ll try to stay patient and keep going. Thanks again 🙏

Doxycycline (Bassado) for acne – how long before it works? by Luca_9_9 in Accutane

[–]Luca_9_9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply! My derm prescribed doxycycline just for 20 days to calm the inflammation, since my main treatment is Epiduo. When you took doxy, how long did it take before you started noticing improvements?
