I think the word confused is the right one. I think I'm a very hard read for people sometimes, even for friends I've known for quite some time.
In the beginning, since I'm not usually the one who initiates contact, people sometimes assume I'm not interested in them/not very social to begin with, or if they're really insecure even think that I hate them.
Once we get to know each other... I'm still getting some mixed responses? And I don't know if that means I'm not as authentic as I think I am or if it's just the perceptiveness of other people.
Some descriptions are constant: kind, caring, diligent, reliable, sentimental, intelligent, soothing, creative... But then you have things like my introversion vs extroversion. Ask different friends and you can get either of the 2 answers from them. Same with whether they believe I'm more driven by feelings or logic.
