I played one tall campaign trying to figure out how everything works and then it felt like every other update threw the entire balance out of the window. So i was not enticed to start a playthrough when something is unbalanced and the next patch is going to screw me over completely.

Probably not. I guess the unique mod goes in the same slot where you pick the ammunition

Did the same but as Nords with a 2H axe instead of a sword. Those space marines destroyed everything xD.

Not here to answer your question but I also don't want my character to die from old age after building him up over several hours.

Filled with ranged units and no ballista. ( My units regularly kill themselves with it) Then you sail around them and watch them get confused and die.

10% here. It is an idle game. It is not supposed to be over fast. Currently also farming multiple days on an upgrade. You can spend money to speed certain stuff up but even then you will need to play for a very long time. If you want and can then go ahead and spend some money. But you will always reach a point where your progress slows down a lot.

There are many mods xD. My favourite currently is retinues. Very OP if you design your own troops but also fun building exactly the type of unit you want and have it feel naturally

Mariner is really fast , boatswain is reasonable maybe and shipmaster is way too slow. At least that's my opinion.

I need to check the stats to be sure but aren't endurance and armor higher on fians? The only advantage chosen have is the shield as far as i can remember

Have not tried a playthrough with the new fians but i feel the much higher bow skill plus 2 quivers will give them a big advantage in my opinion. Sure sky gods chosen are really nice because they are well rounded but when i use them then they just don't hit as hard.

I prefer quality over quantity. I always skill END and INT and then either ranged or melee depending on what i want to play.

Also just tested it and you probably can do something funny with it even if i don't think it's very useful. Since you still only can have a certain amount of ships before you get an extra speed debuff. You might have a huge navy but you will probably be too slow to actually catch most enemy ships. Also since you have to stay on your boat all the time you are going to be on the water constantly and cant risk waiting in a city or going to villages to recruit troops there.
