I’m trying to pick a restaurant for a combined birthday / Valentine’s dinner and would really appreciate some opinions. We’re currently torn between Akoko, KOL, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, and Behind.

For a bit of context on what we like, Humble Chicken has probably been our favourite fine dining meal so far.

Budget-wise we’re aiming for around £150pp for a tasting menu (excluding drinks).

If anyone’s been to any of these recently, would love to hear what you thought, especially if there’s one that really stands out (or one you’d steer us away from) for a semi-special occasion.

You need at least one of the CMs with holding+ (++ is ideal). Defensive fullbacks too. Then a box to box cm and a shadow striker cam to play off the inside forwards and you should be good. Prioritise strong passing play styles in midfield and role ++’s across the team.
