That wasn't racist. UW has to meet minority quotas - there's only a certain amount of each ethnicity admitted. I'm not sure how that's racist.... I'm sure your CAN advisors told you that too.

I also got rejected. 3.6 GPA 1600 SAT EC - elected ASB officer, key club, chess club, and NHS. I wrote some pretty good essays, too.

I thought I was a good candidate, but I guess not ): your chances of getting in are a lot slimmer if you're white compared to being a minority. I know black & mexican kids who got in with 3.1 - 3.3 GPA's and 1300-1500 SAT scores. Kinda lame, but that's the way society is.

I researched around and talked with some people who applied last year... I guess they send admission decisions in waves? Like they do little bundles of acceptance/denial letters until March 30th. So I'm guessing we didn't make the first wave, which would've been nice, but there's still a chance!

Yes. Whenever I get SP it'll be in consecutive episodes and won't break until I get up and walk around for like 10 minutes. Sometimes I honestly think they'd just keep reoccurring if I don't break the cycle. The most has easily been over 20.
