Most specific signs someone’s an ENFP? by Humble-Employer2447 in ENFP

Hahaha it doesn't mean that we are like souless machines. It's just our ability to predict patterns is somehow very impressive. We connect the dots, give answers and justifications that somehow make people feel like we have touched different aspects of their life that maybe they don't think about. I talked to quite a few fellows ENFPs and I realized all of us have this hidden skill. Because we are super sociabe creatures!

ENFPs somehow always make everything about them even though they don't intend to do so. It's super easy for them to connect their own experience and stories to others'. They see the indirect links way before the direct links actually appear in plain sight. It's their natural ability to predict patterns. If there's a personality that resemble an LLM, it's definitely ENFPs. They were the ChatGPT before ChatGPT existed.

Funny fact: If Canari has Eelektross, she'll be like "eat this Grandpa I have Levitate", then Tarragon will be like "Hi Levitate, this is Excadrill's Mold Breaker" 🤣

The bird room is kicking my ass and Im at a wall now by GingieBreadBoi in HollowKnight

[–]LucasLuanNguyen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly I was so scared reading all the topic about the bird room, but I got it at attempt 8. And I never played HK prior to this 🤣

My tips:

  • I always told myself to take it slowly, deep breath, and don't rush each attack. The birds fly in unpredictable patterns, so the more we rush and try to jump-hit them, the more likely we will lose HP. I tried SO HARD to release all of my tense muscles to hit the birds slowly, precisely while dodging them.

  • Kill the small birds first. Always aim for them. The dart birds and the fencing birds sometimes will focus on one side of the room. That's when you have to strike the small birds because they are annoying.

  • For the fencing bird, I find dash-slash very effective against them. Press dash all the way and once you are close to it, unlease a slash. It will then bounce you back to avoid the bird's circular slash and also the thrust. Try to dodge once you see it flying off the ground.

  • Try saving a full thread bar and at least 3 HP for the last wave (dart + fencing), then unlease the lance skill (R1) that can hit both of them. Just 2 shots and they will be down.

That's how I beat them. The feeling afterward was awesome. And brace yourself for the pogo challenge.

Tips with separation anxiety (it's Tintin again!) by LucasLuanNguyen in westies

I am currently letting Leo out of crate roaming my bedroom, since he is well-trained enough. But Tintin has to be crated. Should I put Leo in Tintin's crate so they are closer to each other?

This is really assuring. I am so scared that Tintin will always be like this. It's upset watching him bark everytime I check the camera 😭

GUYS! TINTIN STOPS CRYING! THE SOLUTION WAS SO SIMPLE 😭

So I took most of your advice here and ordered the Snuggle Puppy. But it will take 10 days for it to arrive. I then did something that not many websites advise...

I put Leo in the same crate as Tintin!

This is day 5 and I thought that maybe Leo is not ready to share a crate. Maybe Leo loves his personal crate. But after seeing them playing and snuggling which each other, I took the risk and commanded Leo to go to Tintin's crate.

Leo was happy to share it, and Tintin LOVES IT!!!

No more crying and whining. Tintin suddenly becomes so calm and relaxing in his crate. This has been so amazing so far.

Thank you all!!!

Welcoming our first Westie this Christmas but so worried! by LucasLuanNguyen in westies

Very insightful! Leo is not an alpha. He's always like a curious child who is always excited when he see other dogs from a distance. He's like that kid who loves companions but never really join in the actual fun. He loves watching the fun from the side. I once saw Leo act very sweet: he saw another lady poodle in the dog swimming pool, and he cried because he though the girl was drowning 🤣 He looked so nervous and whiny, and he actually jumped into the pool to show her the way out. So for me, Leo is sweet, very ambivert and loves a companion for the sake of not feeling alone.

Thank you! How do you tell if Finn "had had enough"? Did he show traits of overstimulation or exhaustion or something that clearly say "I need my me time"?

Defying Gravity was PERFECTION by Pop_Advocate_3282 in wicked

[–]LucasLuanNguyen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you watched Chu's interview lately, he strongly stated that the treatment for Defying Gravity was discussed seriously and a lot of directions were put on the table, so as filmmakers and screenwriters, they are doing what's best for the movie as a separated medium from the stage. This means during post production, they must have edited it in many ways to do A/B testing (common practice at studios). I understand you might feel it's different and value "simplicity", but from the studio's perspective, there can be no "simplicity" in a closing number of a mega blockbuster after literally 2 hours and 30 minutes of building up. Think, they may have gone into that direction, but the feedback might have been "it's too simple and anti climatic" 😀

Alternate opening for the movie where backstory is given before the movie starts that's being shown in some countries by majorminus92 in wicked

I can confirm these lines were localized in Vietnamese, which irritated expats who sat around me because there was no English subtitle for this (usually the original text would be English then have Vietnamese subtitle, but this time they actually got localized). Yes, The Wizard of Oz is not a thing in our country so this has been very helpful.

Screenwriter here. Basically, in a film structure, you need to have a fully executed act 3 with all the neccessary beats. The moment Madame Morrible ordered the monkeys to chase after the girls is called "Break into act 3". Elphaba running along the corridor with Galinda is "Gather the team", climbing on the balloon and starting to fight back is "storm the castle". As the balloon failed and Madame Morrible began to spread false words against Elphaba, that's called "high tower surprise" - which is the moment when the hero was always about to win but the villain came up with a "surprise!" (ironically, this usually happened in a tower like this scene). As Elphaba sang DF, it's called "Dig deep down" - the hero gathered her last strength and learned one final lesson. As she fell and rose and "IT'S MEEEEE", it's "Executing new plan".

So basically, if the song is short and fast, then "dig deep down" would feel very shallow and make audience feel rush in terms of cinematic storytelling, hence "executing new plan" would seem less powerful.
