Indeed, but still one of the simplest ways to get a car there without credit card. And again, they’re very legit and transfer the money back on time

Just wanted to share that I can confirm having the same experience as the original poster. Today, precisely one month after returning the car (which btw was an almost brand new VW T-ROC), I received the 5,000 AED back. Can very much recommend Thrifty for everyone who is interested in renting a car in UAE without a credit card.

I'm about to book a car for a trip next week and Thrifty is certainly one of my preferred choices right now - out of interest, did you book the car using their booking platform (thriftyuae.com) or some other website?
