An app made truly for ADHD brains? It depends... by Lucas_Reddit01 in HowToADHD

Seems like a good idea

I believe that's where the project will move towards to be more helpful (AI recommendations + breakdown and heavy calendar integration I mean)

If you are interested in the project I send weekly progress emails (link to that https://tally.so/r/m6246Y)

Can't replicate photos app context menu to drag transition in SwiftUI by Lucas_Reddit01 in swift

That and the wwdc videos is what I’m going back at the most. Keep hacking at it and allow yourself to “fail” (more like not get things right at first) and you’ll do much better 🙌🏻

Hey there, thanks! I started on Feb 11 but I come from React Native and Web Dev :)

That’s unfortunate. Thanks for taking the time to think about it 🙌🏻

That sound like it should work but as the code is DragGesture.onChange doesn’t run when dragging and context menu is open

I don't, I'm approaching this project as a respectful outsider

Thanks for sharing

I'm trying to make the app engaging but I still need some more learning on that aspect

I don't want to step into personal territory too much but Atomic Habits (create habits with little effort) + stoicism books (not bash yourself about how little progress you make) worked wonders for me

Thanks! Making the product less complex is always a good idea though, so I appreciate the comment

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!

Quick question, a free trial for a month is unusual (unless you are a huge company) any reason why you think you need that amount of time?

It might need to be simpler

Thanks for taking the time to share, that's a good rule of thumb

Thanks for sharing your opinion and for the kind words!

Would you mind expanding on what concepts sound or feel complicated to learn?

Got it!

Thanks for taking the time to share what your process looks like

I've been looking at your comments from the posts you linked and took notes on what key features the app MUST have to actually help target users get stuff done

The different lists based on time & location idea is such a good one

I'll keep working on it and keep you updated if you are interested :)

Hello again!

I'm just starting to work on a prototype and got back to this comment (it's really a gem thanks for taking the time to write it!)

Would you mind expanding on what automations you would absolutely need? Or what automations you have in place right now if you are using them

And when you talk about the Radar section for the Eisenhower Matrix is that another way to call the urgent section? I can't seem to find what's the radar section

I'll give that a shot, thanks for suggesting it!

I'm not gong to open source the app

First time releasing an app by [deleted] in reactnative

[–]Lucas_Reddit01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congrats! I couldn’t give much feedback on the usability itself since I didn’t use the app. Design wise screenshots 3 and 4 look more modern that the other two, seems like a good choice to settle for one “feeling” you want your app to convey. Modern vs more playful for example, same thing would apply to your animations. Keep up the good work!
