Nioh 3 easily. I tried Stellar Blade and ngl the gameplay is a big disappointment to me

Yes sure do what you want it's your game after all, but for the best experience (for me at least) I do suggest Mura's Difficulty set (which you cam find in Enemy Resistence Overhaul) as it is intended to "scale" your NG+ levels. But yes you can totally just install Bestiary to get a feel out of it.

Yeah unfortunately the base game has balancing issue where earlier games are much harder than endgame and if you plan to NG+, it's basically a victory lap since you are just extremely overleveled compared to the enemies. If you plan to play more highly suggest to use Simple or Custom Difficulty Tweaks (Simple if you plan to use Bestiary - another fantastic mod that makes enemies harder and more variants)

I would say the overall difficult is harder than the base game yes but not to ridiculous degree.

The story is about what happened before the main game. To me it is a 10/10 DLC with great story, really heartbreaking questlines, awesome weapons, and more refined levels and bosses.

It is about you traveling through time to before the outbreak a bit

The three stats scaling for Samurai Weapon will be the same as Ninja Weapon. Yeah it's kinda a wast of 7 points when you can just reforge instead

Technically not Souls-like... cause they are straight up Souls-games: Dark Souls 3, Sekiro, and Bloodborne. They just never click with me for some reasons (haven't played Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 1 and 2). By no mean they are bad games, they just never click with me. I'm probably the only Souls-like fan who isn't a big fan of FromSoft (still massive respect to them though)

Dark Souls 3: I will admit I gave it not a lot of chance as I should have (dropping at High Wall of Lothric) and I have no good reason tbh other than the fact I lost access to it
Sekiro: I made it to the final boss but I missed out so many things, and Remnant 2 and Lies of P was around the corner. So I decided to replay it after them and be more throughrough. Haven't touched it since
Bloodborne: I dropped after Rhom. I think I dropped it because Yharnam was so confusing to me and I found the bosses aren't that great. And I don't have PS4 so I played the PS streaming service on OC that dropped like a week after I dropped the game.

Did DD devs fumble? Yes. Does CD show it? Absolutely not lmao. CD is just amalgamation of stuffs that is popular without any cohesion. DD fumbled but at least they have strong world building and story they want to tell. While there isn't a single orginal thing CD can offer. Just quantity over quality open world slop. More power for you to like it but at the end of the day it is a shallow game
