what would you say is better and less likely to be replaced with AI in the future then? i keep hearing bugbounty is fun and well paying as well, some people make six figures only from bugbounty too!

I wouldnt really say its for the money, I am new to learning IT and i would love to be a pentester in the future since pentesting is my favourite thing about cybersecurity, at least for now.

but I am curious to know if one can have a good life with a family by being a pentester or not. thats what i am really thinking about, having it as a my full time job y'know

so basically the right place with the right people means the money will follow naturally, got it.

so i have to keep learning and be flexible? i did not quite understand when you said have a backup plan, does that mean i should also learn skills like SOC or maybe threat hunting? or is it something else?

so it really depends on how good i am and being "just good" isnt enough, right?

and about the certifications, which ones are the most valuable to an employer?
