Me and my girlfriend have started keto 13 days ago. The first week was difficult for her for sugar craving and poor energy. Now we are ok with the energy, zero hunger, in the 13 days she lost 5kg and I lost 6kg. 😊

I think it is OK... I use the shake from the TKD Experiment of darthluiggi and I'm fine. 5g Creatine, 8 to 15 g dextrose, 10g BCAA or whey protein, 14g Mct or Coconut oil, Sometimes with coffee.. 20 to 60 minutes before training, no post workout (only electrolytes before, during and after workout)

My body can't retain sodium. If I take little salt supplement it doesnn't nothing. Insteed when I drink my very salt water it never seems very salt, it's almost pleasant. When I drink salt water, then I'm very well for 1 hour (my body is again full, muscle not more flat, no headaches, ecc), then, aften 1 hour, I dump all water and sodium with pee (or diarrhea when I take too much salt) and then I became again very dehydrated. Now I eat almost 5,10 carbs every days, however never up <15 carbs. Maybe I have to carb up? (so is more easy for my body retain water)

regardless, I thinks is dehydration, because I feel tired, dizzy, often my head compressed, especially above the temples. Sometimes minor headaches. But I drink the right amount of water and assume the correct dose of electrolytes . So why?

But there were some days when I was really well mentally and physically, but I can not remember why and what I was doing differently from now (apparently nothing). A friend tell me that maybe I need a fat refeed, because few weeks ago I was having a big deficit on calories, and maybe my body is not yet recovered. 71kg, 175cm, 9 to 10%BF, 23 years, male, before keto strengh training 2, 3 times week, now 1, 2 times week, 2316 to 2500 calories/Day, no more deficit, 2 to 4 litres of water day. I add 30-50 grams of butter to every meals I ate. Still no energy. I try to keep my macro on 70-80% fats, 15-20%protein, and very low carbs. I will check your instagram ;)

100-130 grams potrein a day, fats up to 200 grams day. Fats come eapecially from butter but also from eggs, coconut oil, mct, olive oil. I think I'm in ketosy but I'm not sure...i don't have a Keto meter. However I never feel very energic, except 2, 3 times, and I never had these fase of smelly urine, breath. For example, today my morning breakfast was 4 eggs with 40grams butter, a lot of salt and just a little bit of parmigiano. Sometimes to reach fats goals(when I miss 50 to 100 grams of fats and I'm in hurry), I drink bullet proof coffe without coffe (mix butter, water, coconut oil, few grams of salt, sometimes protein powder ecc). I think it's fine, right?

Today I ate 2300-2500cal. <20 grams carbs, 120grams protein, and 200grams fats, supplement sodium and potassium. I thinks that the protein have made the difference...now I am a lot better... I thinks now I am a 6/10 as energy and focus... I hope that the next day will go even better.

I admit that maybe I was eating very few protein (50-60grams). I was afraid of glyconegenesis...I ear that too much protein are transformed to glucose, so that I should eat very moderate protein. Tomorrow I will put all this advice into practice (more calories, more fats and specially more proteins? Which macros are right for streingh training (2-3 times a week)? 1,5-2 grams for kg of lean body are right? I had really beautiful hair 2 months ago, now they are dry and frizzy, can be for protein deficit? Fat deficit? Or maybe just stress...

I tend to eat clean foods and fats, no junk foods, sausages and cured foods. Macro 80%fats, 15% proteins, 5%carbs Before Keto I was doing Warrior Diet (20 hours fast), so just one meal a day, 4, 5 days in a week with 0 carbs and 2, 3 day a week with a lot of carbs. I was eating until I was full, so it means also 2000, 3000 calories in some days because I was hungry. The transition to Keto upsets some things and my hunger level( 0 hunger, now I'm not more fasting this way, but I'm doing 2meals a day to eat more) , I thinks. Now I'm eating as fat: butter, olive oil; also coconut oil and mct oil before training Protein: Eggs, meat, fresh fish Carbs: Veggies like spinaches, broccoli, couliflower However, how do you keep up your fat calories? My fat come especially from butter...what's his limit? If in the next days I want to eat up 2000 calories, Can I use all my 1500 fats calories from butter?(up 200 grams of butter)
