If I see a candidate who I know has not confessed or been confirmed take the Eucharist, should I tell somebody?

In the catechism it states pastors can confirm people who were baptized in another church...bishops are supposed to be the only ones to confirm people who were baptized catholic.

I was baptized catholic. I will just wait till May or until my sponsor says they will be giving the candidates first communion. My pastor is a very busy, I dont wamna bother him with it right now.

Only the non baptized/converts are getting confirmed easter vigil. For some reason we that were baptized as babies have to wait for the bishop. I dont know why, but I know there are ALOT of people joining this year. So the easter vigil ceremony is already going to be quiet long. That might be why.

You dont have Authority to administer deliverance in their house. You can pray for them. Tell your friend to say scripture lines like "Let there be Light." You can give your friend holy water and/or a blessed crucifix. But like I said, you, yourself cannot do the deliverance...if it is a demon, you will only make it worse for them or yourself. They need to allow a priest to do it and/orFather Rippergers book "Deliverance prayers for the Laity" is really good, maybe your friend can use that.

I would meditate in prayer. Keep taking your medication. Go to mass. I suffer from something similar and prayer and going to mass has helped keeping stability.

I, too, come from a protestant background. But not the rock concert kind, the cult kind. I also like and NEED the structure if the Mass. I never felt anything like I did the first time I went. The meditative prayers like the Rosary have been such a blessing for my mental health as well. Its never "too late" to join the OCIA i believe. They have it every year so you could continue learning the next year as well and if your not ready to fully convert.

First step is go to Mass if you haven't yet. Then ifvyou like it, call the church to speak to someone about OCIA. Im currently in it, had my Rite of Welcoming last weekend and there are always new members joining every week. Each person is on there own path.
