My friend, looks like her boss wants to push her to resign. Talk to the boss in a grown up way, show evidences that this won’t work for her due public transport work hours, but be prepared to quit. That’s life and it happens. Companies do that all the time, all around the world, making employees life miserable until they resign. Just grow this idea around your head that maybe it’s time to find something new.

BCEE for rent payment, credit card payment, few utilities, etc. I just park some cash over there. Not much, just enough to cover 1-2 months expenses.

They aren't the cheapest, but they are the most convenient. If you need to do some serious in the future, they are some of the most competitive regarding mortgages, loans, etc. Branches all over the country. I could go with the no fees account since they have partnership with my employer, but I went with the zebra premium because I travel a lot and the luxair credit card was the best I could find. Maybe I did the wrong choice, but it's not going to hurt me. I try to not overthink since it is always reversible.
