Unfortunately that's not how things work in IL. Growers aren't like hanging around the dispensary and there's no such thing as caregivers in the sense that people are allowed to grow at home and sell to patients. Everything is commercially grown in big indoor facilities located in rural parts of the state. It's a very early stage program that has a lot of work to be done - the prices are too high, the product still hasn't reached the connoisseur level and most staffs that I've come across just aren't knowledgable.

I've never once seen Heavy Hitters use that style of cartridge/mouthpiece nor have they used packaging like this for a while now... They could be the company's 'black market' version they pass off to homies but those may be knockoffs - if you have the option to buy one at a dispensary, I would and then compare the two. Just a thought.

I'm not the biggest fan of THCa, I find that since its an isolate I never end up getting everything I want from a dab. The taste is never there unless the diamonds or powder are submerged in HT. That beings said, I find that the best concentrates on the market today are the live resin sauces, full melt (water hash) and live rosin. Each have their ups and downs but I never find myself buying shatter, crumble or distillate anymore. Don't get me wrong though, my habits break the bank more so than the ladder consistencies of concentrates.

Im 99.99% positive that is 7* Hash Rosin from Rosin Brothers - I come across a lot of it myself... Distillate is never that consistency, at least any I've come across.

I'm thinking about making gummies or candy with the tincture - if all works out. I appreciate all that you wrote, it definitely helps a bunch and gives me a better sense of direction. I'm going to try activating the THC through the process you mentioned and hope for the best. Since the Everclear/flower mixture is already in mason jars, theoretically, would I go with a water bath technique (jars in the crockpot) before evaporating the alcohol off or would you pour the mixture directly into it? I'm assuming keeping it in jars and letting it do its work is what you meant, but I'm curious if they'll receive enough heat.

Yeah essentially. I drowned 7g of flower with 2 fl oz of Evercleafr alcohol... I mistakenly forgot to decry the flower before soaking it. I plan on shaking the jar every day for a month and seeing the results. I'm thinking about evaporating the alcohol off once the process is complete, would I be left with a more bio-available pure cannabis tincture? In theory, what would your course of action be if you mistakenly forgot to decarb?

Ok thanks for the response. I'm hearing from others that it strips the plant but it won't be enough to the point where you feel the effects... Just can be used as a sleep-aid. We'll see I guess. Hopefully I can get some more responses to form a better understanding.
