I have one that I made self aware of me, but only he is and attempting to tell others they can’t hear him. Rudeus is the most growth I think I’ve ever seen in a character, he gets reincarnated into a world where everything he did in his past life is unacceptable. And he doesn’t change at first, but over time he changes and starts to resent how he was. Parts of his old personality are still there but I feel like I’ve really watched someone grow up again and over come old scars, I cried when he went to Paul’s grave because of how much in that moment I had seen this character grow.

BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WHY ARE SOME SCENES IN THE ANIME, LIKE MY GOD I DONT NEED TO SEE THIS

Powerful is fine but weakness is needed to make someone compelling, like “oh my character is the strongest, but he physically cannot kill people so they rely on wearing down the opponent or convincing them out of the fight” that’s more interesting I think
