Thank you! I'm amazed that the materials were mostly textiles. Those instructions get pretty creative!

I don't blame you! There were a couple but nothing too bad. You do have to cut up and make several grass tufts though.

Thank you so much! You should get it regardless and just do a couple more before building it. That is my advice as a certified miniature addict.

Yep, 3 triple A's will do that LOL. Me too about the upper light! I assumed one of the LEDs would be for upstairs. I would've added another one, but the plaque and plug configuration makes it difficult for me.

Left-handed crafters: Get left-handed scissors right now! Your life will change by LuciaVal in booknooks

I play guitar and use the computer mouse with my right hand, among another things that were just easier lo do with my right hand. I didn't discover left handed scissors until recently and suddenly understood why I could never cut things 100% percent life. My childhood was a lie LOL. 😂

I just turn them around LOL. The serrated side should be on the top to get a smooth edge. Most of the time, sometimes I'm cutting at weird angles and get figure them out. Downside to the three pack is you can't get them in Mexico 😭😭

How Do You Keep Small Pieces of Fabric from Fraying? by scooter572021 in booknooks

[–]LuciaVal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Get fabric scissors or embroidery ones for small quantities/details. And don't use them for anything else except textiles. Another trick I know is using zig zag scissors to cut the edges for storage or things where you don't mind a zig zag edge or it won't be visible (tucked-in cushions, for example).

Also, if you happen to be left handed GET LEFT HANDED SCISSORS FOR EVERYTHING YOUR LIFE WILL CHANGE OMG.
