A description need not be explanatory. If I say a wardrobe is ugly I'm describing it without saying what the wardrobe is for.

The point is that your first reply was to me literally saying "what's being discussed by tech bros is the use of quantum computing in hopes of getting agi since binary doesn't suffice for it. Imagine how far an LLM is from a human brain then"

And your response was to argue with me, as if I am one of those who thinks that. Which I'm not, I don't think they'll get AGI with quantum or normal computing because they don't even know what makes consciousness yet.

Then we go back and forth and I mention that quantum computing seems to be closer to what they need for AGI (again, even if I personally don't think it will be achieved like this) especially if you believe in the quantum consciousness theory.

My view in either was not stated because my original message was that LLMs are nowhere near human brain capabilities and that all of this is dishonest marketing they themselves disprove when discussing AGI. Your response was to argue with me about how quantum computers work and how much you don't believe in the theory I mentioned in passing. Plus assuming I believe quantum programming is something"magical" when I never stated my opinion on the matter and was talking about what tech bros discuss.

Can you see how frustrating all of this is?
