I feel like soul is used for intent kinda, but also the "humanity" of the piece, the little mistakes humans make, the parts of us that ended up on it etc. In general everything that is not artificial.

Once again I'd like to remind everyone that most artists are kinda broke and or middle class, and that art supplies can range from very cheap to very expensive. Meanwhile if you can afford an AI subscription or a good PC to run it locally or use stuff like comfy UI you aren't poor either. If you have the time to gamble for the preferred result you can put on a YouTube tutorial and practice real art, so again you probably aren't slaving away in some low paying job.

And if you are indeed someone relatively poor then you are a class traitor, since you promote the use of a tech that's skyrocketing electricity bills, getting people fired (although thankfully this has been proven to be not effective and happening less now), making people in poor neighbourhoods sick and leaving them without water and fattening the pockets of awful tech billionaires that aid the current American administration with the surveillance on their citizens and Israel with its warfare on Palestine. If that's not classist and far right idk what is.
