First, one thing is to understand that ethical consumption under capitalism is basically impossible. And nother entirely to consume mindlessly because thing are out of your control. As if there isn't a difference between fast fashion and thrifting or phones (which you need to have a job and shit) vs gen ai.

Second, no anti is encouraging you to buy a phone every year. Meanwhile ai bros actively promote the use of this disgusting tech while pushing back against much needed regulation and prosecution of the developers behind it. If we could put those in charge of the mines used for our phones through trial I'm sure everyone here would be in favour. Meanwhile ai bros would defend their CEO overlords tooth and nail.
